cbwfcd Posted January 7, 2010 Posted January 7, 2010 Why would the Australian rags know anything about it, especially before the British ones? More importantly, who trusts a Munich? I don't but he came on MSN, haven't spoke to him for two weeks and said "Peter Reid your new manager wtf". How else would he know that if there wasn't something in it.

If there is any substance in him saying that the Oz papers are saying PR, it's probably lazy journalist browsing the net. I've checked NewsNow & GoogleNews for anything on Reid and there's nothing. That includes Australian new's sources too....

Zico Posted January 7, 2010 Posted January 7, 2010 Why would the Australian rags know anything about it, especially before the British ones? because they're 12 hours ahead of us, dur

He isn't online any more but if he comes on i'll try and get him to photograph the article, I couldn't find it on the aussie news sites either.
only1swanny Posted January 7, 2010 Posted January 7, 2010 looks like coyle will be coming regardless. but in the meantime would you rather have Reid ( a bolton fan ).. or Evans whos peeved at his mate getting sacked and given the job by default.. Reid will have the passion for the club and probably get the players in the right frame until Coyle arrives.. and hopefully stay on in some capacity after

Evans although fooked off is enough of a proffessional to continue with the job in hand
MickyD Posted January 7, 2010 Posted January 7, 2010 enough of a proffessional to continue with the job in hand Is he going to apply to be Owen coyle's fluffer too?
worthy10 Posted January 7, 2010 Posted January 7, 2010 has there been an official announcment about Reid?
Ani Posted January 7, 2010 Posted January 7, 2010 why would reid leave a permananet job at stoke for a temp job at bolton. Alan Irvine however.............
fruitbat69 Posted January 7, 2010 Posted January 7, 2010 I say fair dibs to Phil G for playing hardball with Burnley. Why should we get shafted over compensation when we have offered a reasonable amount. OC position is untenable. Think Burnley's board and fans are clearly very bitter and any of his good work there has soon been forgotten. First to blink
no balls Posted January 7, 2010 Posted January 7, 2010 It's Burnley who are being the cunts according to SSNs but don't anyone let an anti-Gartside rant get in the way of that.
YATESY Posted January 7, 2010 Posted January 7, 2010 It's Burnley who are being the cunts according to SSNs but don't anyone let an anti-Gartside rant get in the way of that. Unless SSN have seen the contract that Coyle has with Burnley, I really don't know how they can come to that conclusion. I have seen similar clauses that allow an employee to talk to another potential employer when a certain amount of compensation is agreed, this being the 1 million. BUT when said employee states a wish to his current employer that he wants to join the potential new employer, his current employer can ask for whatever compensation they feel their employee is really worth, this being the 3.6 million. Its a classic stand off this one, with lawyers probably on standby to start earning their fees very soon!
