November 20, 201312 yr Went to see the filum "Muscle Shoals".....well worth it if you've any interest in the history of modern music, especially soul & then Rolling Stones type R&B, but.......slightly marred by the appearance of that tit Bono & his worthless musings.( I'm not sure he's ever been to Muscle Shoals, let alone recorded there )
December 2, 201312 yr Watched Alpha Papa last night (avaiable on Icefilms in HD for my fellow Android TV wankers). Hmmmm ... I was expecting to be disappointed as filum versions of TV comedies very rarely work. It was okay, could've been funnier but wasn't a disaster. 5/10

December 5, 201312 yr Going to try and watch my first ever Steven Seagal film. His early ones were brill, in a cheesy kinda way. Nico, Marked for Death, Out For Justice. Under Seige 1. The rest are shit.
December 9, 201312 yr Watched Captain Phillips last night. The stream I got of it (IceFilms) was DVD quality, but alas there were some strange Asian subtitles all the way through. Not really a problem except for the approximate third of the film where the Somalians were talking amongst themselves in, erm Somalian and therefore the subtitles were still in the same peculiar language. Anyway, I simply embraced it and felt at one with Captain Phillips who I'm sure also had no idea what they were saying either. Excellent 8/10.

December 11, 201312 yr I had a couple of hours to kill so looked on the YouTube full movie site Baz posted a while ago and chose Gettysburg (the extended version) Now I've been watching it 2 & a half hours and need to go out in an hour so looked to see how long is left 2 hours & 10 minutes 4 hours 41 minutes! Now it's a decent film but fucking hell ... I'm not sure the battle lasted that long

December 13, 201312 yr Watched a decent filum last night. Disconnect. Three different interwoven stories about how, what you do on social networking, can have effects in 'real' life. Quite bleak and depressing but thoroughly engaging I thought. 7.5/10 Watching Gravity tonight - looking forward to it. I do like a good space filum.
