We are long overdue a win against the 6 fingered mob so I am hoping that Coyle has got 'em fired up and goes balls out for a win. I love/hate this fixture as being the eternal optimist I know we are the better team and yet it frequently turns into a dire draw or we get stiffed. I thought the sending off turned the game.... in our favour. B/burn started to try & play some football, but with their complete lack of quality it gave us more room to play in & crucially we brought Muamba on. We were a better team with 10 men including Muamba, than 11 men without him & Holden got more of the ball once Muamba was on. I hope that's the end of that experiment.

As for B/burn,we were never that bad were we ? They haven't a single player i would want near our squad.

Well we have managed to win a few with 4-4-2 but unless its Holden and Muamba in the centre we do seem to get overrun. Attack seems to be winning the day in the premiership this season so maybe we are on to a winner?

I sort of understand that, but my point was, as the game wore on and Rovers started to put the pressure on, more and more spaces

 

were becoming availabe in their half, and with Davies up there on his own, there was more chance of sneaking one, what with Petrovs

 

speed.

I agree with that bit, at the time, I'd have taken Elmander off for Taylor for the defensive option

 

not sure why the criticsm of petrov, was the best of a bad midfield in the first half, was at least running at them and attacking a bit, he's out best outlet for that in midfield
