Leyther_Matt Posted April 25, 2016 Posted April 25, 2016 3-3 draw for Colls tonight against Nelson, very entertaining game. Quote
L/H White Posted April 26, 2016 Posted April 26, 2016 (edited) what a great trip to stourbridge saturday, absolute carnage, i'm still shaking now  9:30am start, i then rolled in about 1:30am  semi final tonight at home v ashton, massive game Edited April 26, 2016 by L/H White Quote
Ghana White Posted April 26, 2016 Posted April 26, 2016 Prestwich Heys won the league tonight. Bloody cold but they play some great football. Hope the FA let them get promoted. Quote
Carlos Posted April 26, 2016 Posted April 26, 2016 I went, didn't see you. Bit harsh but they aren't physical enough to do much in the NWC, plus they'd have to charge more than 2 quid to compete. Quote
Carlos Posted April 26, 2016 Posted April 26, 2016 I can't believe Workington have done Blyth Spartans in the last minute so Salford get a home tie play-off final. Quote

How big was the bloke that came on upfront though? Looked like tony Kelly if he'd eaten jamie pollock. Don't know how I missed you? Was stood near the club house. Quote
Carlos Posted April 26, 2016 Posted April 26, 2016 Half way line me, mixing with the local ultras. Big lad, I thought he was a coach then he started warming up! Quote

Form team Workington but had to be to even sneak into the play-offs. Even though Salford have beat them twice this season it will be a very tight match  Home advantage could be the key though Quote
L/H White Posted April 26, 2016 Posted April 26, 2016 Heys won't be going up  Ground failed it's checks earlier in the season  They haven't any floodlights for starters Quote
Carlos Posted April 26, 2016 Posted April 26, 2016 (edited) Nah http://www.nwcfl.com/news-articles.php?id=5059 Â You get until October to put floodlights up. Edited April 26, 2016 by Carlos Quote
Ghana White Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 Spoke to a bloke who plays north west counties this morning and he reckons prestwich will do well next year. Says a few have come down a level to play for them. To be honest I agree with you Carlos. They play great football but u worry in the north west theyll get bullied out of it. Be great if they could go up though. Be nice if they had a better covered stand too. Quote
Carlos Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 I'm with you, harder to play when tackles are flying in. And they do. They'd not be the worst side, by a long way though. I enjoyed my trip anyway, was passing on the tram, friendly club. Quote
Gumbo Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 Developments at Hyde look decent for next season. Hopefully the three year rot will stop too. Big positive changes. Quote
athywhite1958 Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 What a shit night at Alsager, we were 3-0 down at one point, game finished 3-2, the ref was a real plantpot with 2 needless sendings off [1 for each side] it was also freezing and wet Quote
Leyther_Matt Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 Colls might have won if the game carried on for another 10 minutes. Mind you, Colls might have won had they turned up for the first 85 minutes. And the bastards were trying to pass Oxo off as Bovril. Outrage. Quote
