Non League Chatter

A few weeks away yet, but this could be the biggest attendance Victory Park have had for many a year with it being a title cruncher. Come on Chester beat those Leigh stealing body-snatchers.

A date for your diaries, on Saturday 4th July Atherton Collieries will play Bolton Wanderers, Neil Lennon has said he will bring a good squad down

  • I'm very fair and even handed on this one. I hate both sets of cunts.

  • Said nobody ever

Oxenholme and then taxi from there, saves pissing about waiting for a train to Kendal that’s only a few minutes journey anyway

Think we’re doing Rotherham away rather than Kendal

Oxenholme isn't much further from the ground either than Kendal station is either to be honest.

Northern on strike 20th Oct.

Trans-Pennine between Manchester and Oxenholme (Virgin between Wigan and Oxenholme) so that leg will be unaffected. Does mean you’d have to get a taxi to Kendal though (although this is the best option anyway as above).

Nowt stopping at Bolton. I think.

Nelson tonight anyone?

I'd rather smear catshit in my eyes than ever go to Nelson voluntarily.

Makes Burnley look futuristic

i'll see you there then, mate?

Yeah, I'll be the one with catshit eyes and the yellow shellsuit

Only ever been to the football ground, never had reason to go in to the town centre. You’ve intrigued me now, I might have to set off a bit earlier tonight to have a look around.

As its Nelson will you just be rubbing catshit in the one eye?

Very good.

Turns out Sheffield-Rotherham is a Northern route, so it looks like we’ll be going to Kendal instead after all.

The Hamburg v St Pauli game deserves to go on here. The standard was woeful.

Mark fell has left rammy. Definitely for the best. Bit of a megson type character

Looks a great win for Colls. Should have carried on down the M6 instead of going to Stoke.

colls are flying, 1 point off top spot

some team that cleggy's put together

opted to play golf last night instead of doing that trip

did the usual go?

Edited by L/H White

about 40 ish colls  made the journey down, £9 in and then we got lumped with the toll road both ways, a decent performance chasetown had a few close shaves in the first half including hitting the bar, but overall colls dominated play, kept giving sloppy balls away. if they had took there chances we could have had double figures, there keeper was far to good for them, a very friendly bunch. all in all a worth while trip.

Toll road?

Nicky Spooner's lad was fantastic at right back.

we got done on the toll road £4.70 going and £6.70 coming home, thieving wankers, 2 hours to get home, worth it though

Follow M6 not M6 Toll. Simples.

Coach to Marske on the 13th and coach to Kendal on the 20th, it looks like the Kendal trip is staying behind for a couple of hours after the game, I'm driving because I've got my 60th to go to after the game :drinks:

I had to get there before 7 to get teamsheet in, no idea how we avoided toll on way home. But we did.

Coaches are £15.

As Carlos has said they are standard fare £15, we have to start being a bit stricter now and you need to pay as you put your name down [non refundable] as we had too many last year booking on the coach then not turning up, it cost the club a good few quid which we can't afford
