Mounts Kipper Posted July 20, 2018 Posted July 20, 2018 (edited) Fair enough. If Bolton were not for me anymore I'd sack it off and do a few games abroad a season instead. Couldn't be arsed watching someone else and would find something else to do with my time Lets have it right as much as you dress it up non league football is poor quality however on an odd an odd occasion for a beer and a day out it serves a purpose, there is no way it will ever replace the passion that most of us have for BWFC. Leyther_Matt Posted July 25, 2018 Posted July 25, 2018 Anyone go to colls on Saturday? I know it was a reserve team but how did heys play?Heys gave a good account of themselves, played some decent stuff at times without ever looking particularly threatening. Quote
athywhite1958 Posted July 25, 2018 Posted July 25, 2018 Their number 7 was, let's say 'theatrical' at times, didn't know we had a resident sniper in the trees Quote
L/H White Posted July 25, 2018 Posted July 25, 2018 Anyone go to colls on Saturday? I know it was a reserve team but how did heys play? 2 games on at heys Saturday, fun day going on etc Think I'll be there Quote
Ghana White Posted July 25, 2018 Posted July 25, 2018 Play some very good football were unlucky not to go up last year. Surprised at the diving bit disappointing. Went to the annual fun day last year, good day out in the sun. Few Salford fans go watching heys since the takeover. Quote
Smiley Posted August 5, 2018 Posted August 5, 2018 Charnock Richard v Atherton Colls Tuesday 17th I’ll be having some of that. Did Tom play for Colls? Believe he's back from Australia? Quote
C86 Posted August 5, 2018 Posted August 5, 2018 Did Tom play for Colls? Believe he's back from Australia? Yes, he's fitted in well. Quote
athywhite1958 Posted August 5, 2018 Posted August 5, 2018 Tom is a cracking lad and a very decent footballer, he certainly handles himself very well Quote
Smiley Posted August 13, 2018 Posted August 13, 2018 Tom is a cracking lad and a very decent footballer, he certainly handles himself very well Great player. Always wonder how good you have to be to make it as a pro. Rochdale didn't fancy him when he was there. Quote
Moderators Casino Posted August 13, 2018 Moderators Posted August 13, 2018 I once played 5 a side against a lad called peter Thompson He had played pro for Luton Unbelievably strong and skilful Quote

L/H White Posted August 20, 2018 Posted August 20, 2018 Yes and yes. Not the biggest like. Pies highlight recommended. Fucking lovely them things Best I've ever had at a match Will see the colls massive this evening Quote
Leyther_Matt Posted August 21, 2018 Posted August 21, 2018 Cracking game at Colls. Shame about the result. Would have won comfortably with 11 men I reckon. Absolute joke of a red card. Quote
athywhite1958 Posted August 21, 2018 Posted August 21, 2018 Revenge will be sweet in the FA Cup on Saturday Quote
L/H White Posted August 21, 2018 Posted August 21, 2018 It did lool a straight red from where I was stood, but having seen the clip this morning it appears to be a terrible decision from the officials. Colls far better side until the sending off and unlucky not to score on a couple of occasions in the 2nd half with 10 men Quote
Moderators Carlos Posted August 21, 2018 Moderators Posted August 21, 2018 "he's nearly caught it", you know when the ref embellishes the story that they are on dodgy ground, like they are trying to convince themselves. Quote
fester58 Posted August 21, 2018 Posted August 21, 2018 must admit i thought it was red card, bur gregs reaction proved me wrong, colls were a yard quicker, fitter than them, thought connor gaul was outstanding last night, lets hope gregs hand doesn't keep him out to long Quote
