Non League Chatter

A few weeks away yet, but this could be the biggest attendance Victory Park have had for many a year with it being a title cruncher. Come on Chester beat those Leigh stealing body-snatchers.

A date for your diaries, on Saturday 4th July Atherton Collieries will play Bolton Wanderers, Neil Lennon has said he will bring a good squad down

  • I'm very fair and even handed on this one. I hate both sets of cunts.

Far from it. Ossett United are now liable for the debt and are now facing having to sell their ground

That's cheered me right up... Ossett Town were a bunch of twats. Meanwhile Albion were the most violent side I've ever seen.

Whilst Ossett are covered by insurance for the fees, they've still to find £20k. Most non-league clubs would struggle to find that and you can now guarantee insurance prices soar.

hopefully this means we can fuck non league off now

He was indeed.

He got £32,500 in February 2010 but I've found an article in the MEN from April 2010 where he wanted to sue the actual player for £100,000. Can't actually find how it ended up though.

What's happened at Barrow ? .......they seem to be on a fantastic run, top of the National League now. ( also, what's it like for an away game, how many tickets will we get if we're playing them next season ? )

Took 471 fans last away game at Notts Co, had just over 2000 on for last home game, I don't want to play Barrow next season. I want Bolton to stay up.

Colls update?

Manager gone and very quickly pitched up at Ashton Utd! Gutted to be honest, the on-field transformation from when I first started watching Colls in mid-table in NWC Div One is incredible and a massive amount of that credit has to go to Cleggy. Actually thought he'd get a job higher up the pyramid if he held out long enough.

Higher than one league position up?

I reckon he'd have had Conference & Conference North clubs knocking on his door before long, personally. Ashton do have a pretty large budget by all accounts for this level though so maybe he sees it as an opportunity to get promoted to Conf North and go from there.

Sad news for Colls, Clegg was a brilliant manager.

Ashton United have ambitions to be in the Conf, no idea why they've struggled this season. They can give it a real go next season.

I class Cleggs, Healdy, Baz, Eachus and Cam as friends, they've all been really supportive of what I try to do, I'm absolutely devastated.

Massive decision to be made at Colls now.

Massive loss for Colls, great bloke Cleggy.

Be interesting to see who he takes with him, Hardcastle top of the list?
