Muamba struggles on big games. It's like the pressure is too much for him.

 

His ability or lack of is all in his head.

You can't say his passing 'isn't very accurate', it would be more fitting to say it's innaccurate. He can't pick out a pass. What he has been good at in the past is breaking up play, but of late he has been failing to do that to any great effect.

Muamba's ok, just unlucky. It just seems that every shooting chance on or near th'18 yard line falls to him.

If Elmo, Holden or Petrov got those chances week in week out, they would bag a couple.

Nicky Butt couldn't shoot for toffee either but it didn't stop him being an integral part of one of the best teams in recent years.

Can't blame people for having an opinion Ani. Rather they voice them on here than boo from the stands.

As long as he's got a white shirt on he'll get my support and I think he gives the team better balance than having Mavies in the side although I really love watching mavies play - I personally think coyle believes he can get a better player in than Muamba and improve our team in his position - his feet have always been and always will be poor he can only pass it in a 5 yard radius of himself but his quality is all about his athleticism and tackling you look at makalele, butt, etc but they had world class attacking players in and around them I'm not sure that a club like ours can have a player that can just tackle in the centre of the park but having said that I'd like to see a player come in to offer real competition for that holding role and see if he can't develop some more I think it's premature to let him go.

In certain games Muamba can be very useful, for instance at wembley for the Semi I would pick him as he will cover ground that no other Bolton player could, his use of the ball is average at best and terrible at worst, he seems to be a confidence player and if he starts a game well he usually gets better and vice versa when he starts badly. He is a good squad player if utilised correctly and worth keeping.

my point ia that people on here have a habit of pointing out faults. muamba is part of an incredibly succesful bolton team, an integral part in that he does something that the manager thinks is so valuable he plays every game givne where we are maybe OC knows more than we do ?

 

i have said in the past i have no idea how we get away playing the formation we do, but results have proven me wrong. the same applies to the people who have criticised all the players i mentioned.

 

it is all about opinions but for now i will go with OCs rather than those of people on here who 'forget' what they said when we win. (that aint aimed at you btw)

Some people only post when we lose, nowhere to be seen when we win, they fucking love other people's unhappiness.
