Didledee Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 If I was Coyle I'd go for this below, even if you swap Lee for Petrov, Elmander for Lee and Elmander for Sturridge in the cup, it's still a very good side.
bigbenbwfc Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 dirty munich fucker, our lad ul be reet to bag the winner aginst scum in charity sheild

When I was one, I had just begun the day I went to sea, I climbed aboard a pirate ship and the captain said to me, "We're going this way, that way, forward backwards Over the deep blue sea (or the Irish Sea) A bottle of Rum to warm my tum, And that's the life for me. Da, da, da dum dum dum ... Da, da, da dum dum dum ...
skip_bwfc Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 6 months could well be worst case scenario, it's early days yet. They said that Nani could have been out for months with the gash on his leg and he was back within a few weeks, let's hope this could be a similar situation. GWS Stu

mickbrown Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 Happened last time we got to a semi as well, with Dean Holden. I'll get me anorak.

GWS Stu sounds more like ligament damage tbh

kent_white Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 Right - terrible news, but these things happen and we've just got to get on with it. Still 90 monutes from an FA Cup Final and in with a good chance of Europe. Time is now for Muamba and Davies to step up and prove any doubters wrong. Remember last season without Cahill? We thought the world was going to fall apart but Knight and others more than made up for the loss and we went on our best run of the season. Don't lose heart! COYWM
SpiritofBurnden Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 Nightmare. We'll struggle to win another game this season That's the spirit!

anewman Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 so chances are that elmander is going to miss an open goal this time
L/H White Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 Not sure what the panic is. Holden is brilliant yes, but Davies is more than capable. He's actually a better 'footballer' then Holden
Didledee Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 (edited) Isn'r Sturridge cup tied? Yes, but we still are in the League you know ::, I said replace Sturridge for Elmander in the cup or even start Klasnic. The reason I bring Lee to in to the left is because IMO Lee and Holden are our 2 most creative players, Lee being rested means we lose quite a bit of his creativity, with Holden out now and if Lee continues to be rested, then I'm sure M.Davies is quite capable of adding the flair to our game, I just hope we see Holden in a white shirt again, IMO he's good enough for a Champions League side. kent_white Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 Holden down to London today for surgery according to Twitter! Shitbags!
kent_white Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 Holden down to London today for surgery according to Twitter! Shitbags! 'I can promise you all I will come back stronger and better than before. Have had bad luck in the past and will continue to beat it'. Good attitude Stupot!
chrisw99 Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 Stoke fan at work said when they beat us 2-0 at their place, Holden was the worst player on the pitch by far, too lightweight and ineffective against their "style of play". So maybe, just maybe, for the Semi it's not that bad a thing. Disaster for the rest of the season though.
