End Of An Era

DO NOT SIGN ANY LEGAL DOCUMENT IF YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND IT !!!

If you sign the papers you are admitting you are in the wrong this will affect any future rulings if anything comes out of the woodwork.

You need to fully understand how much debt there is (you still not explained where this debt came from) and how much equity or cash there is in a pot.

If your head is fucked go to relate explain you are skint and it is a free service it will be hard but it will help.

you also need to go and take to CSA and find out where you stand and what you should do.

no matter what you feel for your missus your interests have suddenly gone from totally entwined to totally opposed, every penny she gets in a penny less for your future.

Aye you're right, this isn't any place for my self pity. I won't post any more drivel on the subject. Sorry

Shut up you mard bastard, you carry on your blog, it's interesting

too late, it's signed

It might be signed but have you still got it?

If so rip it up now!

There's no rush on your part for the divorce and you really do need professional help with this.

If you're a bit frightened about it all (which is normal), then take a day off work tomorrow and get down to your nearest Citizen's Advice Bureau.

They are really kind and helpful and will tell you the right thing to do.

Remember rip the divorce papers up - do it now and I mean NOW!

He's reet Jazza, rip the bugger up :good:

bollocks

don't stop

you're making me feel better about my life :)

Either rip the papers up or sign your name as M Mouse but using your own shit mixed up with snot instead of a biro.

Don't be ashamed to get some help - you need clear heads around you.

In fact, the more clear heads you get helping you out, the more chan and ale you can drown in.

Result.

I know you are cheering the poor bloke up but I'm deadly serious about ripping up the documents right now.

If they are destroyed he puts everything on 'hold' to give him time to seek help and advice.

If he just puts them to one side there is every chance that he will end up handing them over and in all probability screwing himself - because the man's still in love with the woman and will do anything for her still.

It's gone. She came around to see that I had signed it about 8ish and took it with her to post.

I am not wanting to give the impression that I have no faults within the marriage, I gambled a fair bit and drank to excess so that's her reasons for getting shot of me. I had more final warnings than enough so I suppose I should have listened. i like a drink though and was never violent with it and just wasn't prepared to change who I was for her.

She isn't all bad but she is very single minded and once she makes her mind up about something, that's it. The lady isn't for turning! So when she threw me out I knew there was no hope of reconciliation and it hit me hard. I still trust her, I know she hasn't met anyone else and she will honour her promise to take the debts on so signing the house over to her was the right thing to do, she won't screw me I don't think. I am in no mood to fight things and need to make a fresh start

At the end of the day Jazza, its your life, but please don't forget, folk on here will always be around to 'listen' if you get a bit down,

Jazza,

I hope I'm wrong, but I think you're going to be shafted.

From being kicked out to being sweetened up to sign the papers has been done with indecent haste.

Take it from someone who has been through the process, there's a lot going here that just doesn't add up.

I suggest you superglue yours shoes to your feet, because she'll have those off you by the time the nisi is issued.

do you not get like a cooling off period

ffs, should these docs not be signed in the presence of professionals

he could've been shedded when he signed...unlikely, of course ;)

I thought that. Just say you weren't in a right way when she got you to sign. You said earlier you'd been to see someone for professional help, so they'd probably back you up on that.

She sounds a bit odd if you don't mind me asking. I've been seperated 10 years and we've still not got round to getting divorced. :pardon:

Still hoping for reconciliation?

Still hoping for reconciliation?

You are joking aren't you? No kids, no money involved, no point really. You'd be amazed how many other people aren't.

Jazza, you should have asked her to pipe you off beforehand.

Oh she's deffo fuckin odd, she'd never have married me in the first place otherwise!!

She is very motivated, she WILL win against whatever is in front of her, that's a big part of what I admire about her. She started off in her job in the NHS right at the bottom as a 16 year old and has worked her way up to being a ?60 odd K a year business manager in 15 years. She was the youngest ever manager of a Department in the NHS at 24 and will end up a director of the local NHS authority if that's what she wants. She is VERY single minded. She has decided she wants rid of me and that is her focus just now and it will happen ASAP.

I on the other hand am the serial under achiever, I was a lazy cunt at school, though came out with 6 Highers and 9 Ordinary levels. I could have gone to Uni but decided to get a job instead and in my 20's did ok making decent money without stretching myself in any way.

I then had a breakdown in my early 30's (I'm a fuckin psycho in reality) and left my job and went travelling and ended up living in California for a while. I liked the way cash was easy to come by and you barely have to work to make a living. Anyway that didn't work out because I missed Wanderers and general pub life over here so I came home and virtually straight away met my wife. She was 21, I was 35, I (so I have been told) am a nice guy and we got on like a house on fire. The big thing is I am very young for my age, I don't want to grow up. We got married within 18 months.

The rest is history but I haven't grown up and she has I suppose but she is treating me like a project that is needing finished as soon as possible. That's probably odd

Anyway, I have had the last fuckin laugh about the divorce petition that I signed....... She got me to sign in the wrong place, it is null and void. I will still sign it though, she won't fleece me I don't think. She is very extravagant, likes Radley bags and designer clothes and spends cash as if it's water but she is honest.

Anyway, that's the story of my marriage. It was 50% great, 30% monotonous but the last 20% has been horrible. I hate change, she thrives on it.
