June 14, 201115 yr Schoolboy error, I usually type HAVE, but when I speak that sentence, my HAVE sometimes sound more like ov/of. Anyway, Bolty are you a member of the grammar police? I've seen you do it to other members, no need for it, doesn't get you any karma, just makes you look like a strict professor who doesn't like people forgetting a simple thing in a DNA equation style illustration. Were you thinking of kudos perhaps, rather than karma DD?
June 14, 201115 yr Were you thinking of kudos perhaps, rather than karma DD? I think he was thinking of a homosexual's curry.
June 14, 201115 yr Were you thinking of kudos perhaps, rather than karma DD? Ah yes, I blame that on watching too much My name is Earl.
June 14, 201115 yr Casino ever since the Semi final at Wembley, you've been a bit of a dick towards me.
June 14, 201115 yr I use -> all the time at work for processes and shit like that I got it anyway i use => hth
June 14, 201115 yr I use -> all the time at work for processes and shit like that I got it anyway I have to use -> all the time at work, de-referencing pointers (God I'm a geek). Could of used classes and the '.' notation but that wouldn't given me much (chicken) karma.
June 15, 201115 yr Schoolboy error, I usually type HAVE, but when I speak that sentence, my HAVE sometimes sound more like ov/of. Anyway, Bolty are you a member of the grammar police? I've seen you do it to other members, no need for it, doesn't get you any karma, just makes you look like a strict professor who doesn't like people forgetting a simple thing in a DNA equation style illustration. I do it mainly because I know it irks people. That and upholding the high standards of BCGS of course. More seriously, there is a gradual descent into a sort of yankee slang textspeakese going on which I think is very regrettable given the magnificence of the English language. I see people who could be regarded as 'prominent' interviewed on TV who say 'I fink', and 'There is twenty of them' and the like and, quite frankly, I would have the f?ckers in detention writing lines until improvement occurred You are looking at this the wrong way. You should see such advice as offering the opportunity to improve.
June 15, 201115 yr I have to use -> all the time at work, de-referencing pointers (God I'm a geek). Could of used classes and the '.' notation but that wouldn't given me much (chicken) karma. Come on, everyone knows that -> is for dereferencing pointers to structures only, actually it also evaluates the member you are using, hence the need for a specific operator. Same with the . notation in OO paradigms. Dereferencing pointers, you want *.

June 15, 201115 yr I prefer / ; ~ I actually prefer the :: notation for accessing class-level defines and enumerations. K, I'll stop now.
June 15, 201115 yr Casino ever since the Semi final at Wembley, you've been a bit of a dick towards me. He always was slow on the uptake
June 15, 201115 yr I actually prefer the :: notation for accessing class-level defines and enumerations. K, I'll stop now. You mean constants, define is a pre-processor directive so can't be accessed with any operator.
June 15, 201115 yr Looking good again this lad for Spain, would be delighted with him at the bok can't see it though
June 15, 201115 yr "OptaJoe: 108 ? Thiago made 108 passes for Spain against Czech Republic today, 35 more than any other player, at a success rate of 91%. Future.
