Could not be further from my opinion of him. I think he is an absolute class act and will score goals from places and situations that 99% of other strikers wouldn't even consider a shot.

 

Look at his goal at the weekend, surrounded by 3 defenders, wrong foot, 20 yards out, didn't look up once to see where the goal was and still drilled it in the bottom corner.

 

As you can probably tell I am a huge fan of Defoe!

 

As for over-rated... Agree with Upson and Green but for me the most obvious one is Jonny fcukin Evans. He genuinely would not get in our starting 11 for me.
