Alan Brazil said he was told Cahill to Man U was done deal, the Manchester news said tonight that Utd were working on the deal, with his current form and with the proviso that we spend the money wisely I won't be dissapointed when the deal is done.

I'm not that arsed where he ends up, so long as we do alright out of it. Personally, I think this situation with Cahill is one large part of many why we are in a current predicament. He's too expansive for a club like us, alongside Knight or Wheater at least. As a unit, I wouldn't be at all surprised if we looked more settled and solid once he's finally gone.

Its one at a time rather than one per season. Its the main reason we signed Kakuta only on a six month to take us into the next window from Chelsea. I believe that we were hoping that after Sturridges Ban had finished he was still not given games at Chelsea (If Torres started the season well) giving us a chance to go back in for him

When he was out with the rib problem I remember knight and ricketts/wheater looked pretty solid - just what we want two big teams interested if he did go to Utd would we still get a loan players in:
