Wanderers 2 Macclesfield 0

Wanderers play lowely Macclefield for the 3rd time this season following the 2-2 scare away to Macc, will OC select a team strong enough to turn them over or will it be an embrassing evening?

We did fumble through a win last August in the League Cup finally running out 2-1 winners thanks to Tuncay and Petrov after Macc's Sinclair put the away side in the lead after only the 11 minute.

We should be strong enough depending on the line up of course.

For me its:

Wanderers 2 Macclesfield 1

Attendance 8,000

  • No, it's all-ticket and you need stubs from Besiktas, Belgrade and the Darlington Bonfire Night home game.

Was listening to Macclesfield commentary, very posh person.

Sounded all Bolton for most, until just before N'Gog and Robinson came on and then it was Macclesfield having lots of chances. The commentators were giving Robinson stick, said his touches when he came on were poor and missed a good chance, but thought M.Davies and Tuncay were excellent.

Just on the bus now, was a pretty decent night. A couple of goals, a bit of aggro and a win. Roll on Swansea!!

i just heard some dimwit macclesfield fan thought it would be hillarious to run on the pitch at half time and boot one of the training balls in the net, then run back to his mates.

what kind of fucking plantpot would behave in such a manor?

silly macclesfield fans.

Probably just some stupid 'look at what I'm doing' kind, that fan who ran on attacking the keeper to then get floored by the keeper should be reason enough not to run on the pitch near players, you have no need to do so, stay in the stands.

Robinson is a bag of shite. Here's to European football in the championship next season :drinks:

wwoooosssshhhh.

In the east stand lower, its bloody freezing and Macclesfield are making us look like Brazil (might be something to do with the league they're in).

Edit bollocks you've already said it was a phone delay.....,. Delay

booing at the end....unbelievable

Were you there, Homer ?

after a brief search i think it was actually macclesfield that we have suffered our lowest attendence ever at the reebook.

4,957 on that night.

how many macc were there?

not as many at the end as there were at the start

not as many at the end as there were at the start

they should of gone to blackpool for a fight...

That was poor. Struggled to impose ourselves against a bad side. Can't remember us creating another good chance apart from the two goals, one of which came by way of an almighty fuck up on their part. Bogdan did well again, Riley looked solid enough, Boyata looks more comfortable at centre half than full back. If I was marking the players out of 10, there would be a lot of uninspiring 5's. Am hoping it was what we can best describe as a 'professional' performance, but fear we actually are just that bad.

id say about 2000 macc fans

That was shite, as previously mentioned don't think we created a chance bar Robinson spooning one over during second half. Owen's half time team talks must be shit. This game was there for the taking and a good 4 or 5 nil would of boosted confidence. Play like we did tonight against Liverpool and it will be 0-7.

On a positive note, good to hear Strings of Life over the PA at half time. Even if it was the version with vocals! Made me want to double drop.
