Wanderers 2 Macclesfield 0

Wanderers play lowely Macclefield for the 3rd time this season following the 2-2 scare away to Macc, will OC select a team strong enough to turn them over or will it be an embrassing evening?

We did fumble through a win last August in the League Cup finally running out 2-1 winners thanks to Tuncay and Petrov after Macc's Sinclair put the away side in the lead after only the 11 minute.

We should be strong enough depending on the line up of course.

For me its:

Wanderers 2 Macclesfield 1

Attendance 8,000

  • No, it's all-ticket and you need stubs from Besiktas, Belgrade and the Darlington Bonfire Night home game.

Feels like it could be the coldest cup tie since the penalty defeat to Norwich

In any event, I only intend on staying for 90 mins

I might make the trip down... getting a strange urge to watch us again

3-1 to us. Davies, Klasnic and NRC to score. Crowd to be 5735.

The only reason I'm going and looking forward to it is because my eldest son is doing that frontline thing, going on pitch to greet the players! Really looking forward to it!

Still not decided if I'm going or not yet.

The only reason I can think if for going us that I always do.

The cons are

its fucking freezing,

I'm skint,

I can't be arsed going home from work to come back out again which would mean going in what I've got on and freezing me nads off even more.

It's the 3rd time we've played Macc this season and the other 2 were hardly barn stormers.

It's fucking freezing.

Frank, you know none of those are viable excuses.

Get your scrawny arse to the reebok

I wont be there. No doubt from a crowd of probably 5000 there will be 16000 posters on here and other sites giving their views on the game claiming they have attended.

Cant wait a midweek FA cup tie and a chance of a victory, the REAL fans will be out tonight the RATS leaving the sinking ship wont be there, fook em.

I'm in a travelodge in York, with a Wetherspoons underneath (Steak club on Tuesdays).

So I'll be taking my laptop down there for the free wifi and trying to get a streaming link whilst tucking into my rib eye

Coyle is promising to ring the changes against the Silkmen but insists he will show the League Two side 'the upmost respect'.

He said: "We made six or seven changes last time. I don't know if there will be as many but we will freshen it up in a couple of areas again.

"Regardless of who comes in, they will be first team players."

i'll go with

______bogdan

riley wheater knight robbo

eagles tuncay pratley petrov

____davies klasnic

i know tuncay isnt really a centre mid, but he should be able to do a job there

id also throw s davis on for the last 30 mins after his 90 against liverpool reserves last week

If you're a Macc player, you'd be rubbing your hands at the thought of playing against Knight and Robinson.

Unless/until we get replacements, our defence looks really poor, imagine if we still had Shittu and he played alongside Knight, we'd be conceding goals like, like, well like we do now

Btw, you can pay on the door tonight.

I'm going for 0-0 borefest with Bolton winning 4-3 on penalties.

Wake me up when it's all over
