Fairly certain no one is arsed, but we're still buzzing so I'm telling you all anyway.  We got incredibly lucky, thankfully! Weather was spot on and it properly set the tone for a perfect day, co

Off-duty MPs?

I watched a red admiral butterfly (may have been a peacock butterfly) flitting around hedges earlier.

Sun out and it kept going and coming for ages.

Dunno what food it has available at this time of year, but it must be getting some.

Tomorrow might finish it off though :(

Looked more like Lords.

2 inches of rain for us in South Lincs  tonight... I think I'll go for a paddle down the High Street tomorrow.

Going to be a wet and windy winter methinks.

4-6 inches over Welsh mountains later.

No wonder sheep bleat! :)

Longing for an old fashioned winter where's just fukkin freezing, I suspect mild, wet and windy is going to be the norm now.

After yesterdays glorious weather in the capital it's pissed it down all day today. Glad we got all our photography done yesterday and today we can hide inside the shops.

We're still in autumn!

Weekend and next week is getting significantly colder too, so winter may actually arrive early!

It's stopped!

Kinell, what a day of sleet and rain It's been.

Rained off- presumably Gonzo carried on, but perhaps his yolk was flushed down the gutter.

Still at it pal. Two splits in my hose first thing as well down the side of a pub in sleet ice rain.

Was like Ranolph Phines fixing his boot that time on the way to the north pole :D

Was only saying that the other day, Nov - Feb seems to be one long run of wet and windy weather, hardly any spells of more than a couple of days of drier, crisper weather. Our garden doesn't drain well, plus we're close to the sea, channels around the lawn like Venice

car windows frosted over yesterday morning

cold crisp and clear all day

quite pleasent by autumn standards

absolutely bucketing it down today, as grey and dank as they come

my use of the word dank has made me think of beer and now I really want one tonight
