Fairly certain no one is arsed, but we're still buzzing so I'm telling you all anyway.  We got incredibly lucky, thankfully! Weather was spot on and it properly set the tone for a perfect day, co

If it's the place you want, then why not revise the offer in light of the seller's lack of info.

Then rip the cunt out and have a boiler put back in with the savings.

It is a mistake to become emotionally involved with a property at this stage, the house is in a suitable location and it's the right size for us but we will move on if necessary. I informed the Agent yesterday that unless they produce the relevant docs then we will pull the plug, I have heard nothing in response, I would be open to a financial offer but that's not been tabled and considering the lack of a reply I don't think that opportunity will arise.

The problem is there is a lack of reasonably affordable homes up there being in a National Park etc. and to some extent it is still a seller's market. We only got into this one owing to our recently acquired local knowledge having a caravan a few miles away.

If it's not to be, so be it... the Lincolnshire Coast beckons, we are close to making an offer on the second on our list.

It's always very windy

I'll buy a kite😁

Lovely and warm still here today.

Hosepipe ban comes into effect tomorrow.

I used to hate wasps but i'd take them any day over horse flies. Fucking cunts to the man. Follow you for miles and you don't know theyre on you until the cunts have bit you 😡

Wasps are twats.

I assuming they're going to be strong in number this year.

And they don't go away when you waft em.

They are fuckin nails.

Fucking boiling again.

Just been inside my polytunnel doing some pruning.

Someone thought it was a good idea to thread an extension lead through a grape vine.

The pruning shears won, big fuck off flash, and all sockets in the house went off.

Good things those control boards.

Didn't get dead, but the twatting heat is ridiculous in there and fucks with your concentration levels.

🤣

Aye, thank fuck!

Briefest red flash, and a burning smell but no other damage.

Should wear my specs more too!

Try down hereits been 30 odd for most of the week and humid as. Plus we've got a hosepipe ban so every evening its taking me ages to water the garden.

Having said that the pumpkins are going great guns, collie, peas, strawberrys etc all growing massive. I will not be defeated by the sun😁

It is 30+ up here too!

Forecast just quotes a shade temperature- it's much warmer really.

Had some broccoli already. Lettuce, spinach, chard, coriander too.

The sunshine is forcing stuff to flower too soon unfortunately.

Yeah - but hoping the longer growing season might help. Pak Choi was nice and the herb garden is flourishing as well. Planted more drought hardy plants like Phlomis and I'll be doing more if the summers keep getting hotter and drier. Although the Mallows have done brilliantly as well - tons of colour.

Finally we have something of a beeze - been airless the whole week. Even going swiming each evening doesnt help the sea is like a tepid bath. Can't be good.

Been in hotter grounds. In the shade thnk fck.

I planted 4 pak choi that my lad had done from seed.

They went bonkers for a few days, with lots of growth, then developed flowers before they had really matured with a dense core.

Doing more later in the year, or when we've harvested more from the beds.

Will get loads more spring onions going as they need a warm soil temperature to germinate. Initially nothing happened then as soon as we got the first heat wave they emerged all at once l.

Clever bit of kit . Monitors the electrical current in Live and Neutral returns which should balance and trips if a discrepancy. Bloke who invented that should be sainted for number of lives he has saved or vilified for spoiling the Darwin awards (sorry TMGJ 😉)

Luvverly 😀

I was watching a bit of the Scottish Open earlier, or watching the players stand around at least

Looking at the weather there, it's hard to believe we're on the same island

I'm growing potatoes in a bucket & also in a sand bag. There's plenty foliage & I've kept topping up the soil.......but when is it time to "harvest" them ? is it when they flower or have I made that up ?
