Isha starting to flex her muscles.

Gonzo to get the worst of her by the sound of things.

Just been on Stanley Park watching my lads under 13s match. Whipped right up in 2nd half, was pretty unplayable.

Rain is torrential too.

Three or four days of decent weather here - around the 28C mark. Cooler nights for kipping too.

The February furnace yet to come.

This storm Isha looks dangerous. I'll bet those Blackpool turds have been well broken up mind. Always a bright side.

Was a bit chaotic here last night, with nearly all the village without power for several hours - as far as I could tell there was only my house and one further down the road that still had power (both of us obviously feeding off batteries)

Looking out of my office window this morning there are bits of fence panel and wheelie bins all over the place. We didn't even get it that bad here either, as far as I can tell from the news.

I hope @Gonzo keeps hold of his egg barm, and it doesn't blow away today

Spare a thought for these poor sods (mentioned on BBC site) - what a place to get stuck for days in!

Philip Walker got stranded on the Isle of Man along with 200 fans and players of Kendal Town FC, who’d been visiting the island for a match against FC Isle of Man (a game which finished 1-1).

He tells BBC Radio 5 Live that they may not be able to make their return journey until Wednesday or Thursday – but that easyJet has managed to book some families into hotels.

“There’s an upbeat feel,” he says, but there’s also “a lot of anger". He continues: “It’s been disappointing but that’s just how it is."

Walker explains that planes attempted to land from Aberdeen and Liverpool, but were unsuccessful.

While he’s holding out hope for a flight, he’s also booked himself on the ferry “in case”.

Wasn't that bad in Bolton in the end, Welsh mountains did a lot of buffering.

Lancs coast and Cumbria bore the brunt from what I can tell
