Fairly certain no one is arsed, but we're still buzzing so I'm telling you all anyway.  We got incredibly lucky, thankfully! Weather was spot on and it properly set the tone for a perfect day, co

Drove 3 hours from north Wales back home

Pretty much torrential rain all the way home

Surface water on the M56 was pretty hairy, not just driving through it but having it fly at you from the opposite lane sporadically

Fields flooded all over the place in Wales

Henk has played havoc. 94mph winds down south.

Wales pelted with rain.

Just spoke to some contractors doing sewer repair work near us; they travelled from Welshpool this morning and said the land was simply emptying water onto the roads.

Oh, and its raining again.

Bright sunshine and nice and calm here today - yesterday afternoon and last night was carnage though. Loads of trees down, which left our village "cut off" - plenty without power for a few hours as well. Many of the fields look like lakes, if we get anymore rain, then there will be flooding I'd have thought.....although over the next 24 hours, with the run off from the fields, some houses could flood anyway. The sand bags are already out for those closer to the river than I am

Major incident declared in Nottingham with River Trent about to burst its banks.

Need some sandbags fetching @Marc505?

I think he's in Australia, bumming Koalas at the minute

The rain here is unbelievable at the minute, we've just had our "flood warning" alarm could be interesting tonight

Been a mostly dry day in Bolton. Lovely for a walk.

Just because it’s happening more frequently, it’s still just fckin weather OK?

It looks really really bad, town where we live was cut off a couple of days ago no road or rail available. They've recently built a fuck off estate on the nearby flood plain, but that's not what's caused this of course, council won't have that...

Just seen photos of the water nearly at Forest's doorstep as well, think their next game will be played in flippers!

Moved onto quokkas now, put up less resistance.

Sadly not, just a text message.

Anyway, all OK up this end of the village, only a couple of houses flooded near the river apparently

Geese are on one this morning.

Off to higher ground?

Imagine voting for someone as stupid as this.

Imagine being so stupid to as to take a biased social media post as gospel.

Imagine not seeing the discussion as a whole, and not realising the complete, and deliberate lack of context behind the post, and not observing the irony within the comment. The woman doesn't have a positive view of climate issues, which I would wholeheartedly disagree with, but that isn't covered in anything like a sensible way by the poster.

Imagine being so desperate as to offer up such nativity as in any way meaningful.

Imagine constantly slagging folk off from a pedestal floating in a sea of bullshit.

Imagine still attempting to defend these fucking charlatans. You do realise those words came out of her mouth, not the persons who posted the video?

You need to calm down.

I watched the programme, it's on catchup so I am not taking a social media post as gospel. I just clipped it from X as its easier and there are loads on there to just link to.

Just before that clip she was saying Nestle paid for some flood defenses because they weren't happening quick enough. She complained at government money not being spent quick enough.

She made a silly comment that was picked up by various people. Something of which she should know better but it made her look stupid just to get a jibe in at an EU statement. A statement of fact.

Arctic blast arriving next week apparently.

Aye.

Mixed reports as to how much snow we may get.

Just read an article before, claiming we're in for the most snow in 14 years. Arriving Tuesday.

Shouldn't be a factor, but don't want the replay postponed.
