The Reading game was always just too painful to recolect for many reasons. As a bit of catharcis I bought the Reading club video of the game and it helped a lot. I cant include it as I went awol after their second goal.

As for the games in the 70's I was only 5 so talk me thru them.

swindon semi i'll never forget, fantastic.

Although i missed some big ones, Reading Play Off was on holiday with parents

There were quite a few memorable games in '95.

Swindon and wolves semi for me plus the Preston playoff final (not that I remember much of it).

I was on a coach trip to Spain with school for the reading final. The 1st thing we did when we arrived was phone home to find out the score.

Thirty or so 15 year old kids going mental on the streets was a sight to be seen!

West Ham home

Okocha's had a bang..........ooooooooooohhhhhhhh...........Special.......... Jay Jay Okocha, so good they named him twice :D

Hull and Reading too, obviously.

Derby away in the 1/4 league cup in 76 knew from that day I would be a Wanderer for ever, the 2-1 at OT Frankie Worthy, and Reading in 95 immense occasions and there are many more, we don't know how lucky we are to support this great club.

Cant say much different to what others have said:

Bayern was the pinnacle for me for pre match and game itself, just cant see how that experience could ever be bettered.

Birmingham in the cup last year was a superb atmosphere too, there was a video going round taken by a Birmingham fan opposite our end who was filming for our penalty and Lee's winner, its gone down now but it was brilliant to see our fans erupting as they went in.

Beating United 1-0 at OT with Nolan's winner

That final day 2-1 against Boro was great, what noise when Frandsen scored!

And, the game that started it all for me: 5-1 v Wolves in 1995, unforgettable.

Ones I wish I could have been at; Plovdiv away, Hull away, 4-3 Play Off Final, no-one would take me!

Bournemouth and hull away in same week in the promotion year is up there for me, then Southampton in Cup

Oh ye of little faith. I have a disc of that game permanently stuck in my DVD in my bedroom tv, though don't tell anyone or they'll all want to watch it :D

Liverpool away int cup 93

The 5 euros trips I did - all were equally good, kept havin too pinch miself.

Freight Rover 89 vs Torquay (although I slept thru 1st half!)

Prob loads more....

The Euro trips were all smashing great, super, but I'm having them as holibobs rather than games seeing as I don't remember some of the actual matches.

I do miss Europe but it did nearly bankrupt me. :)

Too many to mention:-

The Bournemouth & Hull away week, the pair were brilliant

Aldershot home for the worst day ever, shortly followed by Tranmere at wembley

Wrexham away

Arsenal in the FA Cup - our 4-1 away win (Kelly's goal still stands in my mind)

Marseille away

All of the above!

It's great being a wanderer!

Me too. It always rinsed my holiday days too.

blackburn away , where jussi saved two pens, talk about ups and downs

belgrade away. had to be there to know why

Interesting to see not many premier league games listed here

Bayern for me

McGinlay hattrick against Boro in my first game at Burnden

Man Utd at OT the 1-0 win Nolan one

Im cheating and doing a few of each...

At burnden Wolves, Spurs int cup and last match v charlton.

At Reebok - Beating Utd 1 nil, Atletico Madrid, Zenit. first match v everton, first season v scum

Away UK - Blackburn with the double pen saves, Hull int prem when we won, beating wigan 3-1 was fun. Beating Villa 3-1 with my dad taking me down on a corporate aged about 11/12

Europe Away - all I went on, Guimaraes, Madrid, Munich and Lisbon.

Memorable losses - scum slapping us at burnden, 3-1 west ham away belting day out ruined by football, losing to hull away int prem - fell out of love with football after that and stopped goin for most of the season. Wembley last season.

Zenit.

memorable for being the wettest I have ever been in my bastard life! Like a nob I thought I'd actually watch that at my seat.

Also memorable for being the busiest train ever from manc and being fed crackers and spirits by the zenit fans ont train.

And for Stelios being up to his waist in water running down the wing! Haha

easy

plovdiv away
