I'm already excited about going to millwall

I wasn't really. He apologised to me in the end :D

We've got Peterborough away first anyway remember.

Looking forward to it already...............

I wouldn't say "quite good fun". I'd say largely irrelevant.

As I've just posted in another thread, the club's main battles are really off the pitch & mainly financial.

And don't say we need to stay up for the Prem income; we've overspent the income by ?80m+ over the last 11 years ............ according to the figures.

The majority of the 80 million is interest payments, time for ED to right that off and give the club a clean slate.

with one of the lowest wage bills in the prem constantly, and one of the lowest transfer budgets constantly, how the fuck have we overspent is what will always baffle me

Is bogdan still gonna collect his player of the year award?

Unless Walters knocks it out of his hands.

Still adamant the ref or lino didn't give that goal, stadium announcer did, silence until he chirped up, players and officials didn't know what to do.

Bogdan should have just set it for a free kick.

you tube via crappy iphone footage

Which is superior to Blackberry. :D

Anyhow, can we not just go to the game old school, see with our eyes then argue the toss in the pub after without the use of video evidence?

This isn't the end of the world, nor the end of Bolton Wanderers Football Club.

We have been in some pretty dire predicaments and situations before and this is nothing in comparison to those.

Fair enough, the club is massively in debt, but the board are constantly saying it's a managable debt,so hopefully nothing to fret about there.

The youth academy seems to be bearing fruit now,so another plus side.

Clubs will not be knocking on our door for any of our players in the summer,so we've a chance to clear out the dead wood, bring in some hungrier younger players, plus Chungy and Stuart Holden will be fully fit and ready to boss the midfield in the Championship.

We'll be well prepared for next season in my opinion and come back recharged, refreshed and partially rebuilt.

We're down,it's done and dusted,we can't change history but we can shape the future,so let's get behind our beloved club and enjoy watching them storming the Championship next season

That is a very good post. We have to take it on the chin and the next time we are on a high it will feel better because of days like this.

I can't believe how well I've taken it, looking forward to next season.

Will it hit me in the morning, am I in shock or summat?

I'm the same, not known much other than premier league football, only a young'en and looking forward to a few more away days.

Chelsea away was nail in the coffin of passion for PL for me, must have been 100 lads at most from Bolton.

?50 for a normal Saturday football match is a joke, Charlton will be much more fun.

Prices aren't much cheaper in the nPower Championship.

I know, its not like you get cheaper train travel across the country just because you support a Championship team rather than a Premier League team, and a lot of the teams down there have had top level football recently so their ticket prices will still be pretty high. Wont be any cheaper, but Im still looking forward to some of the places to visit coming up. Bristol, Brighton, Leeds, Nottingham, Sheffield... to name just a few

Anyway, hadn't we decided that it was dull playing in the sterile environment of the Barclays Premier League.

Bring on next season: I might start going again.

I've lapsed into the shit fan category recently (ST, no aways for the last couple of seasons), but stranegely I;m looking forward to the aforementioned wet Wednesdays v Barnsley.

The way games look more enticing than Chelsea away anyway.
