Jussi Gone?

Featured Replies

Wouldn't have lost his place if it wasn't for injury, legend keeper, laters Jussi, no point sitting on bench all season, when you could play 1st team football elsewhere.

I suspect he'll be warming a bench elsewhere. Be amazed if WBA go for him before they get a manager in (who might have his own ideas). Be amazed if he was signed as WHU's first choice.

Latter more likely destination, a signing used to force Rob Green to sign a lesser contract.

  • So fuckin what ? what would you do in a professional footballers situation ?   I used to moan like fuck that players had zero loyalty, every time we lost our best players....Steve Thompson went for

Rioch left 1995.

He was his last signing before leaving us to invent the internet, form Oasis and discover a new treatment for Casino's piles.

What a feckin daft thread. As he gone or what????

If so fuck him, if he's not, good man, admire your loyalty.

Good player

Toss pot on the one occasion i spoke to him

I think im the only one who found him to be a top guy on the one occasion I met him.

It was in a casino though and not when he was out eating with his family or something.

my missus did a kids party for him a couple of year said he was an arrogant bastard

brother in law did his roof and said he was a top bloke, even took my sons kit down and had it signed.

missus has also met mrs davies (who gets a lot of bad press on here) at the same kids party.said she was a very decent lass, more than nice enough. and seemed very down to earth.

i also know the midwife who delivered their last child who is of the same opinion.

Even chavvy scrotes can find someone to speak about them nicely when they've died.

I'm happy to go with the general consensus that he's a stroppy miserable twat.

Give me the most miserable person in the world if in hindsight they give Bolton what Jussi has.

Jussi gets slagged off because he's miserable.

The manager gets slagged off for being upbeat and positive.

Tough crowd on here.

Correct.

Tough crowd on here.

Not tough enough sometimes.

Heard a few very dodgy stories about him but did the business for us.. big part of our success

really?

they own a race horse together or something you know, him and fat sam

I'm sure that it depends on how a person approaches any player as to how they respond, anyhow good luck to Jussi he has given BWFC the best of career even though it suited him, it suits BWFC to get shut considering the money he will be demanding we will get better value for money elsewhere as we should for the Money we would have paid for Coker and Klasnic.

dennis peacock's grandson has just sign pro forms for us.

A great player who gave up the cash from his testimonial to local charities. Legend.

Would have had 20% tax relief on it mind

Mate just text me he spoke to jussi at the gym said as much as leaving, he asked his thoughts on Coyle, he laughed and said you will see, read into that what you will.

The only time i met Jussi he was a right horrible twat....

It was 7am on a Sunday morning and I was pilled off my tits rooting through his bins but fuck me we pay his fucking wages!

really?

I don't care if they're married to each other's sisters, he's not a long-term first choice goalie for a team looking to compete in the Prem. He's a squad man.

Sounds like a man bitter because he's had to uproot his family because the manager:

1. Dropped him

2. Wouldn't pay over the odds for his new contract

But it's probably something else or never happened in the first place. Personally, I wish him well, but this thread isn't doing his 'legacy' any favours.

Sounds like a bitter man because the manager decided to replace one of the best keeper coaches in the business with an oap.

Yes I know Fred was having knee issues but The replacement bloke was/is embarrassing frankly.

Jussi has been a great player for the club...

Its time for us to part ways....

I wish him well in whatever/wherever he does/goes...

Ive met him a few times and he is very shy bloke which sometimes be taken for arrogance...

Doubt very much he will join up with West Ham as he is a very strong family man, he will reluctant to uproot and take his kids out of school especially as his new house is nearing completion....

Dont understand the bitterness towards a player who always gave his best and was part of a great squad in a very special time...

Good luck Jussi and thank you

Agree with all that, just had a horror thought though, he could end up at Blackburn, definite first team football there as I think Robinson is out of contract

Why is he getting the blame for leaving? The contract offered to him will tell him how much he is needed at the club, sounds like the Club have forced his hand which can mean only one thing to me, that we didnt want him to stay.

I dont give a fuck if he has tourettes and tells fans to fuck off when approached, he is employed to keep the ball out the net and that he did very well for us and for 3/4 seasons he was amongst the top 3 goalkeepers in the country. Time to move on but a great player for us and not disloyal IMO. When he was interviewed recently saying he turned down some of hte biggest clubs in europe I thought it was a goodbye gesture.

My sister was his cleaner for years, he was always great to her, and got her all sorts, and stuff for her kid too.

I sense a lack of respect for one of your best players ever.
