August 5, 201213 yr Don't know. I'm guessing some men's matches can be 3 sets, some 5 matches and this one is a mixture of te two. I can't say I follow tennis enough to say if tis is a one-off or if a tournament of 3 set games quite often results in a 5 set final. It's not common to play a 5 set final in a 3 set tournament, but not unheard of. Indian Wells used to do OT for both the men and women. Anyway. Well done GB.
