Didledee Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 Well done Andy, as of tomorrow though I still want you to lose every game! Quote
maaarsh Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 And getting them from a drink is bollocks. Might not be cool, but its the only way to get the amount you need. Cyclists take in 4500 calories a day from energy drinks alone in a grand tour. Quote
Carlos Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 There's a scruffy hippy type had his photo taken next to it. What an odd photo, just the top of his head is in the sun making his hair look brilliant white. Classic. Quote
jayjayoghani Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 sorry, all masters are now best of 3 throughout used to be the case some had 5 set finals Quote
Didledee Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 Singing the anthem, surely Boltyangaroo will no longer want him locked in a tower? Quote

birch-chorley Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 And getting them from a drink is bollocks. Go on then I will bite as well I take it you watched the panorama programme last week about sports drinks etc I have never seen such a bigger pile of rubbish in all my life Energy drinks have carbs in them (roughly 2 slices of breads worth). Although you can get carbs from a normal balanced diet a sandwich half way round a marathon is not very convenient. A sports drink is I did a half marathon on water only and ran out of gas, did a full one with sports drinks and managed much better. Quote
maaarsh Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 (edited) through to semi!!! It's best of 3. Total 2 horse race- all we're watching at the moment is the race for bronze, then it's Kenny Vs Bauge in the final. Bauge was 3-1 on favourite last week, but Kenny fucking killed the flying lap and is now favourite. Needs to win or clueless tossers will start bleating about Sir Chris. Yeah in marathons or other endurance stuff they're useful when you need energy. People trying to lose weight should avoid them certainly Quote

Jason Kenny doesnt half seem under-rated. he justs quietly does his stuff, and fairplay to him for that like I said the other day, he's got gold in 2 olympics and he's only 24! Quote
Didledee Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 (edited) If Murray wins this mixed doubles and does well in the US open, will he get sportsman of the year, or will Wiggins? ennis? Edited August 5, 2012 by Didledee Quote

But wouldn't any sugary drink, provided it isn't fizzy, do the same job? Quote
