He gave up after first corner so the ref has sent him home I feel a bit sorry for this guy yet I didnt for the chinese badmington players

But that would have, to some extent, disturbed other competitors. Instead he toed the line, dropped back from the start and walked off within 200m, causing no problem to any other competitor.

If a football choked as badly as Adlington, Hansen and Shearer would be calling them out big time. Balding made 1 little comment and then spent the rest of the night apologising and saying how great Adlington is, after a frankly terrible performance.
