ex_midlandwhite Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Which other candidate has 9 "O" levels? Jimmy's nobody's fool and was an excellent reserve team manager. A bit of a jump up I know, but I would like to see him given a chance. Likewise. I wonder if Sammy would be prepared to be number two to Jimmy or whether he's go back to the academy role Quote
ex_midlandwhite Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 a lot of folk seem to be getting rather giddy about phillips and sammy lee. Unsure why. Because Mick McCarthy and Roy Keane are currently one and two in the betting I'd say Quote
Boothy Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Has bwfc dan confirmed with his ITK sources yet? If not i don't / won't believe it! Quote

Matt Lofthouse Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Whatever happened to gaz_ITK? Good point, has gaz confirmed it yet? Quote
LodgeMorrWhite Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 I really wanted Coyle to be the man for BWFC. Im gutted its not worked out for us but it feels like the right decision. All the hard work really does start now, massive game against Bristol. Quote
wanderer13 Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Typical stubborn bastard, right to the end. Given the option of extending his tenure but doesn't take it. I'm glad, he isn't a strong enough leader when in sole charge. Having lee helping would only have weakened his leadership further. Hope we don't rush into a replacement, Phillips and lee have seen what needs doing so should be good enough for the short term Quote
Traf Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 this made me chuckle and shows how single minded and stubborn coyle was: http://www.zonalmark...le-of-football/ they ask "Have Bolton played ‘attractive football’ under Owen Coyle this season?" then wheel out stats to suggest not to which he replies in an interview: Arrogant Unemployed Cunt Quote
Traf Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Fuck him Fucking hell not Sammy Lee Get the ginger 1 back That'll be you not going again. Quote

EyesRight Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Jimmy Phillips and Sammy Lee, Jimmy!........ And Sammy! Will be looking forward to that on the train to Blackpool. No doubt we will have MM in by then though. Quote
miamiwhite Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 interesting point coyle made on SSN,where he mentioned Gartside had said ''we can dress it up a bit,say you've left by mutual consent etc'' but Coyle reufsed and said 'let the truth be known'.............................fair play to coyle for that, but Gartside is showing immense loyalty and backing to him to say that, even after such a disastrous spell in charge. I'm hoping for Ian Holloway or Roy Keane but Mick McManus will come in and wrestle the players into submission Quote

Everything OC has ever done in the media has always been with the highest standard of dignity - even today, a couple of hours after losing his job, he takes time to sit and talk to SSN and speak openly and honestly about it. As much as I have wanted him to go over the last few weeks, I can't help but feel gutted for the guy. Top man, nice bloke but completely the right decision. Next appointment is possibly the biggest choice PG will have ever had to make - earn your corn Phil. Quote

Fine bullet to the head Edwin...................who's the Chink you've lined up ? Bruce Lee to put some fight in the team ? Quote
miamiwhite Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 when i heard it on Tower FM at 11,i must admit their choice of record after the news bulletin was of impeccable timing...they played Beat It by Michael Jackson........fine choice sir Quote
no balls Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Eddie Davies had been in Hong Kong for 2 weeks, arriving back after the Millwall and calling a meeting. I thought he wasn't going to games because he was pissed off ITK and all that. Quote
