Guest Blixa Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Word on the street about Sammy Lee possibly undermining his position or something. A couple of wins and I wouldn't be surprised to see Jiminho and Little Sam getting the gig. But I think we all know Mick McCarthy is the anointed one. Quote

L/H White Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 It might be time to start a Keith Hill rumour to get some momentum going Any odds out yet Garpo Quote

Sweep Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 A couple of wins and I wouldn't be surprised to see Jiminho and Little Sam getting the gig. A new manager will be in place before the next league game is played I would have thought Quote

onlyoneawalker Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Odd how now he's a decent bloke yet for weeks he's been a cunt. Bloody right someone on the oatcake summed it up: Totally agree, Momo. Basically one bad result (in the semi) and their whole world spiralled out of control. Any decent manager would have turned things around but the facts are, he couldn't. Not only that but his board back him and allow him to keep his team together in an attempt to bounce straight back up and he can't buy a win in the division below. Massively over-hyped thanks to a few media friendly soundbites. No substance to him at all though, all talk and a pair of shorts. I'm not getting all gushy about coyle he made some collosal fuck ups - cue Ipswich Town for him Quote
DIPS Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Haha I don't feel anything, maybe I was expecting it too much. When Megain got the boot I was shouting for joy at my desk and punching the air. Quote

kaydan Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Great day to be working from home. Just waiting for interviews with some toothless idiots outside the Reebok on SSN! Quote
Kill Cricket Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 I just hope we get Eddie Howe as replacement. Not because he'd be any good, but because of the apoplexy it would cause in Burnley. How funny would that be? Quote
Site Supporter only1swanny Posted October 9, 2012 Site Supporter Posted October 9, 2012 They know the problem wasn't just the manager as they have binned off the coach and assistant. Quote
Site Supporter HomerJay Posted October 9, 2012 Site Supporter Posted October 9, 2012 steps down? was he not sacked then? Quote
anewman Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 steps down? was he not sacked then? fair play to him if he stepped down then Quote
Peter North Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 OC was only part of the problem at t'Reebok. The biggest problem is upstairs at boardroom level as we all know. Until that changes it will still have the 'feel-shit' factor! Quote

HR Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 I dont think Jimmy will view this as an interim short term appointment, more of an opportunity as he is very ambitious and Coyle was intimidated by this. I hope he's still in charge at the end of the season. Quote
freds dad Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 fair play to him if he stepped down then Does that mean we don't have to give him a pay off? Have the backroom staff stepped down as well? Quote
