Bolton 2 Cardiff 1

Not exactly filled with hope for this one unless our adopted Scottish Jew Douglas Friedman(that was his original name used by his father when playing for Petershead) can work Biblical wonders on the training ground this week plus make some emergency signings,if so the dark clouds will Passover

I'm led to believe Cardiff will be backed by a very healthy following with Tom Jones as lead vocal

Doom and gloom has set in on this usually optimistic Wanderer, and expect Jim McDonagh to have a sore back after yet another demoralising defeat

3-1 to them, the Soul Crew do not smash up Harvesters and Warwick Rimmer gets our consolation goal in front of 19,507

I think I might get into Harvesters early doors for this one and stock up on salad before the inevitable happens.

How dare you make light of such a horrendous act of violence...there was blood split you know!

Bolton Baked will be on shortly with another oscar award winning performace giving his account of the biggest battle on these shores since Waterloo.

Nah lad, it was surely the 'big off' between the Eurovision Abba fans of '74 against the upstart punk movement, Shirley?

Really looking forward to this, a new manager and some fresh ideas hopefully.

I think we'll win this, BWFC 2-0 TAFFS with ar' marv bagging along with chungy.

First home game of the season for me due to working away! Looking forward to a good afternoon rinse.

2-1 to dfswa

Need at least 6 points from next 3 games.

If not then even the play-offs become a dream IMO.

Personally think we'll get 4 from our 2 home games.

1-1.

Getting quite excited about this.

3-0 to the whites (Chungy, Petrov and Eagles)

1-0 Wanderers

2-1 Bolton. Eagles 1st goal

WLD its a great foundation for DF to get to know what he has to do.

New manager syndrome will go in our favour i reckon.

2-0 eagles, davies.

Oooh ...... I just love the unbridled optimism on here. Not seen it for little while.

Realistically it'll probably take a few matches for DF to get his message across, decide on our best team, get the players fit, and start to pick up points more regularly. He says as much today.

Tomorrow I'm looking for marginal improvements to fitness, teamwork, movement, passing, defending as a team and (if we're lucky) more & better goalscoring attempts from the strikers (whoever he picks).

Result ? Could be a new-manager-effect narrow win (2-1) or .defeat (1-2) to a better organised top-of-the-table team. Should be interesting to see.

I know it's all been words, but the more i hear from DF the more impressed i am. 2-1 tomorrow. He'll need a few weeks and one or two butts kicked to sort of the defence, so yes we will conceed.
