Bolton 2 Cardiff 1

Not exactly filled with hope for this one unless our adopted Scottish Jew Douglas Friedman(that was his original name used by his father when playing for Petershead) can work Biblical wonders on the training ground this week plus make some emergency signings,if so the dark clouds will Passover

I'm led to believe Cardiff will be backed by a very healthy following with Tom Jones as lead vocal

Doom and gloom has set in on this usually optimistic Wanderer, and expect Jim McDonagh to have a sore back after yet another demoralising defeat

3-1 to them, the Soul Crew do not smash up Harvesters and Warwick Rimmer gets our consolation goal in front of 19,507

Aye, one of only 4 times I've been at a game with 9 goals (others being England 9 Luxembourg 0, Bolton 7 Plymouth 2 and Bolton 8 Walsall 1)

was the 7-2 v plymouth in the mid 80's ? sure it pissed down all day

have we been involved in any 5-4 games ?

Crewe away should of been 5-4,if it wasnt for Nathan Blake attempting to smash the roof top guttering to pieces behind the goal.

Just got boggled-eyed scrolling back through the stat site - seems the last one was a 5-4 defeat at West Brom in september 1962. Bastards.

Last 10 goal game was beating QPR 6-4 at home in november 1969. Bolty will be on in a bit to tell us all about it :)

ask undies about the plymouth game......got kicked out at 0-0

I'll beat him to it. Snow on the terraces and chucking snowballs at the keeper. I think Rodney Marsh played for them that day.

10 goals in one match deserves a double post!

Pretty sure that was the one where they'd used their one sub (as it was back then) and the keeper got crocked, so someone else went in goal and he played up front! I'll ask Undies.

As others have said hopefully new manager syndrome will kick in and we can start get a few results of the back of that whilst doogie settles in.

3-3 at 66/1 are great odds.

Im going for Whites to 3-2 at 33/1 also.

(SJ)

well really really looking forward to tomoz, im off golfing then off to maybe catch Tempest Utd before the Reebok,

Gutted to be missing this, love the excitement of a new manager.

Raise the roof, November is a massive month for us, good result tomorrow can really kick start the season.

3-1 whites.

Didn't we beat Walsall 8-1 in the eighties when tony Caldwell got 5 ?

Got a good feeling about this. Still no clean sheet, 2-1 Wanderers eagles and skd winner.

Sensible head 1-1, Rome wasn't built in a day

Sod that, optimistic head 3-1, COYFWM

Chungy, M.Davies and Sordell.

With all lads football cancelled this morning, it's a long wait till 5.20, bring it on!

Im getting excited now!!...

Come you white men!!

Id love a clean sheet....

wah heyy!

Think Im going up for even the first half today!

Would 0-0 be a bad result?

Yes it would.

The only reason it would be considered a positive is because of the clean sheet.

We don't have the time for draws at home when you consider how dreadful we are away from home.

We could be in the bottom 3 at kick off.

That's how bad things currently are.

Freedman really needs to get these losers playing and fast.......

I just hope if lose today we don't get a load of whoppers on slagging Freedman off and stating how we should have got Redknapp in. Freedman has a lot of work to do, we all know that, sadly it's going to take a bit of time to reverse what Coyle has done to us

Cant wait, only positive thoughts, confidence and faith for this kid. 2 nil

For those without Sky and are shitfans...

We are on all the usual suspects.

It will take time, of course it will.

We dont have a lot of it though and I think promotion this season is a forlorn hope.

Coyle has left this club in a mess and visible progress is a start.

He talks a good game and has already been quoted as saying we will be much further up the league at the end than we are now.

Lenny too must be better than the clueless wasters we had before.

We need to man up and be mentally tougher.

I feel positive in the long term about DF.
