The longer this twat fills a Bolton shirt he is denying a proper Bolton player a chance to play.

Mark Davies could play up front in his position for fucks sake.

What about Tom Eaves?? Oh yes that right we are going to loose him to Bristol because of Afobe.

And what about Holden when he comes back? How is he going to feel.

Since when have become a feeder club to the likes of Arsenal.

Shit,bollocks,wanker I say.

I read this thinking Christ this mon is finally getting it. :D

Although, everything you said, I dare say half our fans would agree with. Except we are now at the stage where he's restricted sordell to no appearances and we've had 1 goal? In return cause we wanted to give afobe a chance. Although thinking about it, if we'd buggered off afobe, coyle may still be in a job so actually he's done alot for the club

I know, that's what I said. I suspect it would be illegal to dictate which players played to other clubs. On the other hand, the more hours could mean more players coming over. But doing that is very different to writing it in a deal.

I just can't see any club risking it. Why promise a player you know little about really game time? Playing for arsenal reserves is a lot different than playing in a competitive league in front of a lot more supporters.

There's little point in the likes of Arsenal sending their players to clubs like us if they're just going to sit on the bench. They can do that in North London. I'd be surprised if there isn't some insistence that the loaned players get X amount of minutes on the pitch in the loan contract.

Sometimes the players are plenty good enough (Wilshere, Sturridge).

Sometimes the players aren't (Myaichi ... and possibly Afobe).

Thing is, I still don't think we've seen enough of Afobe (playing up front as a striker - which is what he is) to make a proper judgement.

Difference being when we got Wilshere & Sturridge we all knew they were good before hand, with the others we (I) knew next to nothing about.

I agree that we havent really had seen enough of Afobe to judge but Ive probably seen less of Sordell and Id like to judge him first.

As for the loanees sitting on the bench , well they wouldnt even make the bench at parent clubs, so for them and their clubs any playing time is better than none.

weve been very lucky (?) with most of our loans in the past , as far back as Pike. (cant remember Nigel jemson Stuart Ripley etc)

When he came in on loan, stuart Ripley was the most talented player Burnden had seen in quite a few years.

Nigel Jemson, on the other hand was utter dogshit.

Jemson really was turd

Jemson remains the worst player I have seen in a Bolton shirt.

I've memory serves, he had a decent 45 minutes from the Bench against United one year at the reebok.

Other than that, I can't remember him doing much.

Didn't he sign for Fulham after Sheff Utd raised their asking price by £5k at the last minute and Neal wouldn't/couldn't pay it ?

things don't change

Jardel was overweight and disinterested. Cid was shit.

always thought if jardel got one goal, plenty more would come

fat and immobile, yes, but he still had a bit of a touch in front of goal (in the carling cup mainly)

Seemed to me that Jemson just didn't want to be here.

Total shite.

bit like Robert Fleck

remember an interview where he said he didn't want to come but it's not so bad after all

Was going to mention Robert fleck.. I thought we'd hit the big time when he arrived.. how times change.. although I remember being reassuringly disappointed with him

His header at Liverpool in the cup was one of the best headers you'll see though. Cracking goal.
