The table never lies as they say,but results are what matters,not the teams performances.City for example have been mediocre at best all season yet they sit at the top of the Premiership.

He's 5 matches in now but can't change the squad till January (if he has the chance & the money). As long as we're clear of the relegation zone I suspect he'll continue looking at different ways of playing the utter dross Coyle has left him with.

 

So who should he move on and how? Most of the Pratleys, etc. that people would want to move on are on Premiership money and long term contracts. Nobody is going to match what we are paying them or give them the same length contracts. We had the same crap on here that Coyle would move people on and get his own players. But he couldn't until their contracts expired. Freedman is in the same position.

 

I agree - that's why I don't envy DF his job. He's got massive problems to resolve with that squad. I doubt any of the 'better' players are particularly saleable and I very much doubt any club will want to take the rest of the overpaid dross off our hands.

 

That's not to say he won't try to bring in some battling spirit, goalscoring touch and defensive know-how if he gets the chance in January.
