Brighton & Hove 1 Bolton 1

Right the inquest is over from yesterday, the first of 2 tough away games is coming up.

Jolly Boys outing to the Country's gay capital to start with,so a good few on here will feel right at home and blend in with the locals.

300 pubs in Brighton to keep you entertained,400 restaurants to choose from, making it the largest selection or dining places per head outside London.

Brighton's crew know we're coming and their main boys Chris Eubank and Robin Cousins are mobbing up on the shingle beach.

Norman Cook's loyalties are divided as we have Zoe down there already on recon duties. Population of Brighton and Hove is 480,000 so he'll be telling her to be ''listening to the boys from the big bad city''

That camp fucker Jules Darby is already there as well, sorry i meant Julian Clary (not much difference anyway, bar a touch of make-up)

There's a fairy tale event in town next week,it won't be our result for sure, and there's usually more fairies in that place than jimmy savile's dreams.

For Bolty 58 esp,Komedia have put on a ''Mod for It'' night.

With Brighton Rock and Quadrophenia filmed there, let's hope to get 3 points and have no Sting in the tail

A few changes will be made to our starting eleven but we'll still lose 2-1 in front of 25,609. Michael Robinson and Steve Foster for them,Owen Coyle for us

for those in the christmas spirit Holly Willoughby lives there as does Heather Mills. she runs VBites, but if you descend on the place en masse, she may leg it

Ha ha rock n roll. I'm going to see if it on somewhere in a trendy wine bar :D

And I don't need abuse from you in fancy London town either, you bully ;)

Who was there in 92/3 when we lost 2-1?

We played really well and lost to a late goal. I think Andy walker scored for us.

i was. Was indeed Walker who scored. Early season game, september ish.

Just had a look - 22nd august.

FFS - 20 years ago!!!!!

Bumped into Rioch and the team on the sea-front pre game.

Before the days of all the millionaire primadonas.

They were sound with us.

Those were the days.......

I went down with the bloody tufty club for that, just have battered them. Bit of a shithole the goldstone but I quite liked it on that side terrace

I went in a van...got there fairly early & set off back at last orders. No recollection of the game but a cracking day out !!

Also went on the "special" in 79. Lovely sunny day, Bolton didn't win & a bit of mither on Hove station. Another cracking day out !!

Took a good mob that day on the special train, i remember the pretty coloured smoke bombs chucked at us on the terraces, and the mither on the station after the match.

Looking forward to this, get to tick off a new ground as well.

2-1 Bolton, ever the optimist.

Have a great time you lot

3-1 win

Didnt realise it was so early in the season, aside of Walkers goal and it pissing down, my overriding memory was Brighton wearing striped shorts just like their shirts

Definately wasn't pissing down mate.

Was a nice summers day.

Went to that in a van from darwen. Set off at 6 got their for 12. Booked in a b& b and went on the lash round brighton not realising the ground was in hove. A great weekend and a good turnout from bolton.

Hanyhoo, moving on from all the abuse and vile violent druggie hooligans I've decided I'm a stupid bitch for bring sensible and not coming.

I hope you all have a shit time, we lose, the OB wade in on you all with batons, you get robbed by queer hookers and other horrid stuff.

I'm wallpaper shopping tomorrow.

Wankers, the lot of you.

Do John Lewis do wallpaper?

Have a good day everyone. Its a long time since I did an over nighter for an away game. Maybe next year.

Lad just booked on flight, paid a ton bargain

On the coach . Next stop Brighton!!

Definately wasn't pissing down mate.

Just dug the season highlights video to confirm that for myself! Couldve sworn it rained but hey. Just having a quick look thru I couldve also sworn blind we won 1-0 at Rotherham that year but im mixing that up aswell

You've got a video player?!?!

I bought one of those videos with a dvd recorder on a few years back for the sole purpose of copying my Roadrunner vids so theyd last longer.

That season was the only one i managed, bastard thing kept chewing the others up. Ended up in the bin.

If we stayed up last year and sacked Coyle after the Stoke game, I still wouldn't have gone this season, I've lost the motivation, want, excitement of going to a game, they don't need an unhappy (not in life, just with Bolton) fan at the ground, they got some of my money through subscriptions and the new kits.

If I did renew this season, I'd have been annoyed with myself for wasting money on something I was no longer enjoying, because this season as been a complete joke, I used like talking about Bolton, now it's a quick comment about a result and maybe one or two nostalgia posts.

but you still post on this supporters site

strange

No chance, no interest, no point wasting money on them, 1 win away from home all season, near bottom of league, they don't deserve you and the others going great turnout.

When I go out on a session, I don't drink 17 pints because I'm thirsty.

A few pints early doors, not been so exited about an away game for years. Come on you whites

It was cracking the flags in '92. Remember the piss-stones being quite floral and gay. Was that Rotherham game the 2-2 when the entire end behind the goal was raising the roof and the players turned around in disbelief at the noise. Fucking superb days and support!

Think you've quoted the wrong person, however as you did quote me, know one needs that amount of drink, unless of course you really like being drunk, if it's just because it's for the taste, would you have the same drink but non-alcoholic? or do you have 17 pints because you like the effect and it makes you feel a different person and it's cool to be drunk amongst other drunks.

Anyhow I don't care, it's the people who drink so much at home before going to bed what I find crazy.

Got a good feeling about tomorrow, this could eclipse the infamous Southen away

Might as well go with a 2-2 draw. Seems a popular result for us this season.
