Possibly right there mate-real shame if he doesn't come back.Seems a cracking lad.

We'll never see him play again

Massive shame if that's the case. I hate johny Evans more than ever. Cunt.

shouldnt of been playing in the game he was orignally injured, rest key players for semi fortnight later espeically in a game 90pc of time u wil lose anyway

I was hoping to see him at WBA on 3rd December (and still am - but faintly!)

So October was then December and now jan/feb!!! Think its a non starter and he is buggered

Or maybe people listen to know nowts

Dreadful for him, awful for the clubs fans if its true. I hope your right Cass

I've believed that for months now,

Stu believes he'll play again to the same level that's good enough for me PMA!!

Considering we are almost in December now and he's not yet returned to full training, this doesn't surprise me at all - just hope the lad does come back to a good level and in time to make a positive contribution to our season

all i'm saying is there is one bloke on here who really is itk and he said 'december/january at the earliest'

he said that months back while coyle, nixon et al were on about august

Are there any other players that spring to mind that have recovered fully from a 2 year lay-off??

Not making a point by the way, just asking....

nistlerooy and shearer both tore their cruciates.

the thing with holden injury is more than any other injury it needs baby steps, when it is said that he will step up his recovery he'll be doing light jogging in straight lines then sessions in the pool building up the muscles no twisting turning sprinting of any sort. He will play again for us i believe that but it really is not one to be rushed, frustrating giving that he is arguably our best player but even more frustrating for him.

Yes....me!

I had knee and shin splint problems for a couple of years and missed two complete seasons in my late-twenties, then it all got better and I had a good final few seasons for "The White Horse" on both Saturdays and Sundays - I had however lost a yard of pace so ended up at left back instead of left wing.

I'll bet that's the sort of confidence boosting post that you were hopeing for :|

Very good. :D

fuck, new thread
