I'd like to know what percentage of those 3,000,000 are paying their way before passing judgement. Anyone know?
December 11, 201213 yr This has surprised me: The number of ethnic white British has dropped to 80%. I'm beginning to wonder if I'm a racist knuckle dragger as I don't like that statement. Then again, I'd be interested to know what percentage of the 80% are morons.

December 11, 201213 yr It's like anything, those who are contributing to society I've no issue with, those who aren't can be lumped with the rest of our great unwashed.
December 11, 201213 yr can't say I've noticed an adverse effect on my everyday life that I could put down purely to these 3M foreigners so not arsed really, as the only solution I can come up with, if I didn't like it, would be to fuck off somewhere else
December 11, 201213 yr wasnt this part of a master plan by nu labour to end the immigration debate once and for all?
December 11, 201213 yr I don't give a monkeys how many foreign types come into the country, as long as they contribute. Any that are here for a free ride can fuck off....and there are plenty of lazy, sponging "ethnic white British" that they can take with them. With similar thoughts to Zico, I've not noticed anything in my life changing with the influx of all their foreigners, but if things did change for the worserer, then I'd be off somewhere else. I'm surprised to see that 80% of the population are still "ethnic white British" as I would expect the number to be quite a bit higher than that
December 11, 201213 yr No problem with genuine migration. Interstingly, our current p.m. was in Europe trying to re-negotiate our nations payments to the budget. Poland has received significant payment to improve their economic and social standing, and they've had growth of around 4%. Fair enough. However how can it be right that numerous migrant workers come here, share paltry accomodation, work for smaller wages and send the bulk back to their families back home? There are also stories about benefit payments they can claim. If it's a free market then let people go wherever to work, but NOT subsidise their economy at the expense of ours.
December 11, 201213 yr However how can it be right that numerous migrant workers come here, share paltry accomodation, work for smaller wages and send the bulk back to their families back home? So, they'll work for less money than British folk, they'll send a large chunk of that money back home ... yet remain here and still not starve to death. Strange that. Maybe the country would be in a better state if more British folk adopted their ethic.

Keep hearing this arguement about British workers being idle etc.. maybe some truth in it- don't know, but where living costs are different it may be unrealistic to work for peanuts. But when you see gangs of migrant workers on Bromwich street early doors, waiting to be collected I'd like to know how many are officially employed, are they paying their dues and apart from living costs most of the money goes out of the economy. Morover, as I said earlier if it's a level playing field then fair enough, but it's not. If your all for allowing the nations of Europe to 'catch-up' fair enough, but is should happen naturally, without a handout from Britain. And it hasn't worked for the Greeks. December 11, 201213 yr Keep hearing this arguement about British workers being idle etc.. maybe some truth in it- don't know, but where living costs are different it may be unrealistic to work for peanuts. I absolutely agree. ... but I also think too many (not all) folk nowadays think that living costs must include necessities such as a full Sky package, broadband, mobile phone contract, etc etc.

December 11, 201213 yr When i worked doing flats up in Llandudno, you would get a few E Europeans moving in those places, then more often than not, all there mates moved in and wrecked the place. I had keys to one flat and found about 12 sleeping bags in one room.
December 11, 201213 yr british workers on sites are lazy cunts who insist on having a chat and at least 3 brew breaks a day, foreign workers graft all day and have 15 minutes to eat their shit I'll take on board your personal experience on such matters. Maybe that's why the gvt. is seeking to make it easier to sack lazy fucktards! Though the influx is going to do no good with respect to improving our employment situation. And it's still not a level playing field. Just into my second year of going on my own. If a group of Eastern European gardners moved into the area, sharing a cheap gaff as LW illustrates, and undercuts me and others in the area then what chance do we all have. I don't rip folk off and I'm earning less than when employed- not complaining it was my decision- but it seems odd that our taxes have to go to helping other countries whose folk could potentially fuck up my living. Don't really know what the answer is, but it doesn't seem fair

December 11, 201213 yr Did you see the graphic which showed how immigration into the UK compares with the rest of Europe. We're around about the middle - about the same as Germany and France. Luxembourg had the highest number per capita, roughly double ours.

December 11, 201213 yr Any country worth moving to has experienced the same phenomenon, this is nothing to do with Blair or Labour. If you really dislike foreigners, move to blond haired blue eyed Sweden...oh no wait, they've got a higher percentage of foreign born than us. You live in a successful country, foreigners will move from their shitheap into it. Don't like it, move to a fucking basket case where no lunatic wants to live.
