What's a work snob??

 

We have loads of folk on here do allsorts and in the main any serious snobbery appears to be about folk not working from what I read....or have I missed the point??

 

I'm not picking at what you said, just trying to get it...

I had a time out of work, it wasn't retirement, sure people at say 60 may have never had a break like I did, but I wasn't hurting anyone, I'm not so sure what I did was wrong, I couldn't stay at that job for a lot of reasons and one what I mentioned was about Bolton, the irony is now a couple of years later another choice of mine, is not to go to Bolton games.

 

I mention snobs because I've seen the comments about sandwiches etc, sure I have made a few, but just like my old job, it's the other things that come with it that I don't mind and like.

I offered to help out at first and stuck with it, I know many work snobs think I'm wasting my life, but I get a good wage and am happy. I may come across a depressing when talking about Bolton at times on here, but I'm not with life.

 

I went straight into work at 16, learnt a hell of a lot, sure I could have gone to college, uni and be on a lot more money, but everyone as a different life, don't compare me with people who have kids at my age and a wife, It's not a want of mine atm, not sure why people bring this up, sure you get man points and I'm sure you have a better job, but there is no way what I'm doing makes me a bad person, though I do often think if Idid things different would I have the things mentioned above but along with it I pick up bad characteristics and doing bad things.

For me,my trade was absoloutley booming,and I mean booming.....

 

It was either spend the lot on smelly crime things(which I did a littel bit obviouisly) or whack a massive deposit down on a house....best move Ive ever made,As everything went tits up a few years later.

I'm half thinking she got fed up of you arsing around the house all day whilst feeding you and putting a roof over your head, and told you to muck in or fuck off.

From what I can make out from his posts, Didles has never signed on or claimed for anything. As long as I'm not financially supporting him for sitting at home playing FIFA all day, personally, I don't give a fuck what he does with his days.

 

If his Mum's making him pay his way by working for the family business(es) then she's obviously trying to instill a work ethic into him, so I say good on her.

 

Apart from where Didles has clearly riled some posters with personal comments I just don't get why so many are so abusive to him. You might think he's a simpleton, you might not agree with his life choices but, as he says himself, he doesn't go out there and do harm to anyone else.

 

Quite often he's told if he doesn't like topics or discussions then he should ignore them. I'd say that's a bit hypocritical when some posters get riled by his comments and then resort to insulting him - if you don't like his comments and if you think he does nowt but talk childish shit then just put him on ignore.
