December 23, 201213 yr Pissing goals away is not news, but scoring four away is. It was a bad result but I'm taking the positives.
December 23, 201213 yr Author I really don't get what our fans expect, we're shit we've been shit for many years and things will not change, thank fuck i can claim i've watched us all around Europe, my dad, grandad never had that. Those days are well and truely gone. whoever manages or runs the club will not make a blind bit of fucking difference, we are what we are so just accept it and enjoy the days out FFS I'm not talking of Europe I'm talking about i expect to beat bottom of the league Peterborough but carry on..... I won't just except us in free fall , i want us to do better so that's just you sitting back and saying we are now lucky to be shit meeting at shit grounds for group hugs.
December 23, 201213 yr I suppose stockport didnt expect to be near the bottom of the conference. We have had our time
December 23, 201213 yr Author I suppose stockport didnt expect to be near the bottom of the conference. We have had our time What's the point in playing in a nice stadium then with that attitude ? If we are excepting that we are never going to be good again we might as well play at gigg lane and knock the Reebok down.
December 23, 201213 yr If we are excepting that we are never going to be good again we might as well play at gigg lane and knock the Reebok down. You'll find very few arguing against that
December 23, 201213 yr FUCKING HELL!!! Saw the smug twat yesterday smooking a cigar and forgot that he'd labelled us all as #vile.
December 23, 201213 yr This latest result is all part of lifes rich tapestry. If you ever want to see Premier League and European football again, then the likelyhood is that things will get worse before they get better. Personally, if I was Gartside, I think I'd fuck it off because I couldn't be arsed with all the abuse I have to take everytime 11 men over whom I have very little control have a bad day.
December 23, 201213 yr the idiots forced him in to sacking megson they got what they wanted when he appointed coyle he sacked coyle 12 months too late thats all he's done wrong, imo Megson going at that time was right thing to do but agree fan pressure didn't help matters and agree with rest. He is right man for the job.
December 23, 201213 yr FUCKING HELL!!! Saw the smug twat yesterday smooking a cigar and forgot that he'd labelled us all as #vile. I spotted him too, he was lighting up said cigar (with a £20) , wearing a fur coat, he had a bejeweled crown atop his swede and he was kicking a young, dirt-faced ragamuffin/chimney-sweep up the arse whilst laughing... I'm baffled why the guns should be turned on Gartside on the basis of yesterday, however... Has anyone ever tackled him regarding #vilegate? I'm more pissed off at him for that, misrepresenting the views of a fairly big and usually judicious bunch. To disregard 'internet' opinion altogether would be fine, but to pander to twats, using twitter to disparage us - offhandedly and without further reading? Behaviour of a reet wanker that... December 23, 201213 yr I wonder if he wishes he could turn the clock back to the Xmas when BSA wanted to sign Pele, Jesus, and Mohamed Ali to kick us on into the Champions League spot and thinks 'fuck, thats where it started to go wrong'?
December 23, 201213 yr I think that's a lot to do with the morgue-like atmosphere at home, and all those on this forum (and others) coming out of the woodwork predicting the end is nigh after every defeat... They think current form is the deviation rather than the norm. They don't realize that the Allardyce (and a bit of the Megson) era was probably the best we'll ever get... I remember getting excited and going to watch the stiffs when I heard we'd be trialling an AC Milan player - Enzo Gambarro! Since I've seen us play in Europe and World Cup winners in the White Shirt - Dreamland! Now it's back to reality, life goes on... Edit: I've just thought of another memory - after Todd quit, we played Swindon I think, Browny as caretaker. I was working and couldn't go, arrived in work and asked if anyone knew the score, got told it was 4-0 to Swindon by some wag in there. I wasn't that shocked looking back - certainly wasn't enraged and shaking my fist at the heavens. I was quite pleasantly relieved when I got the radio on though...This wasn't fucking years in the past was it? Edited December 23, 201213 yr by Youri McAnespie

So letting five in against the bottom of the league in a away game can be blamed on the atmosphere at the reebok and people's reactions after the game. But we have had some good times recently so we should nt be that bothered ? We have blamed BSA LSL Megson Gartside and OC now people seem to have realised that the millionaires on the pitch are actually the problem. Was there any booing yesterday ? That would ruined everything.
December 23, 201213 yr I agree with everything you say. I wasn't sure whether it was folk on here you were referring to or people at the game today. It was a guy who I recognise from away games, but don't know. He just lost the plot and turned on Gartside big time, another took him on and both sets of mates kept em apart. All a bit silly really
December 23, 201213 yr We have blamed BSA LSL Megson Gartside and OC now people seem to have realised that the millionaires on the pitch are actually the problem. That's the thing, most of us, over a certain age, realized that fucking aeons ago...

We should be beating the bottom clubs but it's not a given but booing chanting for every fuckers head every 2 bastard minutes doesn't help. Where did i say we are now lucky to be shit, so just read the post properly instead of making things up to suit,we all want our club to do better but at the moment we are what we are
December 23, 201213 yr No one booed until we were 2 down. Any club in the league would do exactly the same.
December 23, 201213 yr How can anyone be blaming Gartside for yesterdays fiasco The players let us ALL down including their manager, chairman and all the fans Zat Knight couldn't give too shits and his lazy play give away the first three goals; agree he has been our best central defender this season but thats not saying a lot - we are short of a real leader in that position. Peterborough wanted it more and a lot of our overpaid players didn't want to get wet. Gartside has made mistakes as we all know but he has the club at heart and is not to blame; lets see what happens after the transfer window Edited December 23, 201213 yr by RUREADY2ROLL

December 23, 201213 yr Watched Swansea today Not much has changed with them despite the new manager - still pass and move, very slick at times and decent enough defence. A management team of Ferguson, mourinho and Gaurdiola couldn't get out lot up as they are JUST NOT GOOD ENOUGH. Getting rid of Gartside should be at about 103 on a list of 102 things we need to do.
