The bellends off here who said last season they would be happy if we went down, so we could win a few games and have a few nice trips away, well you know who you are you dickheads are you happy now.

I see what you're saying but don't really get the animosity.

We're getting dicked in this league so if we'd stayed up we would be lucky to have 5 points. Personally quite enjoying the different towns and will wait until end of January before I decide if we are on right road.. This transfer window is make or break.

Go on, I'll bite.

I am enjoying this league far more than I have enjoyed the last 4 or 5 seasons in the prem, getting turned over heavily by the likes of Chelsea, Utd and Spurs and going to games knowing we have no chance. This is a competitive league but the problem is that we are turning out poor, spineless performances at the moment but I don't believe we would be anything other than bottom of the league if we had stayed up last season, we are a side in decline that is used to losing games with seemingly no consequence to them and this is what Dougie needs to arrest. This would have needed to be done whatever division we were in, it should be easier to do from this league - I hope!

At the end of the day I still get to go to the footy on a Saturday, in fact am going to far more games again, I'm now paying less for the pleasure and can decide on the day quite often. Yeah there are plenty of negatives but I'm not going to apologise for acknowledging the positives to and the away days in particular have been much more enjoyable.

Thats pretty much where I am at. I can understand why people are emotional after yesterdays debacle, but no need for the animosity.

Losing 5-4 at P'Boro is still preferable to losing at Spurs/West Brom/Sunderland pick a number higher than 5 - 0

We didn't lose many players over summer (which tells you about the quality of our players more than anything), I cannot see how we would be anywhere apart from rock bottom in the Prem.

Ngog tried yesterday, so did Afobe and Spearing to some degree but generally we are a poor team in the right division now as opposed to a poor team in the wrong division.

Just my view but, as bad as it has been, so far I've enjoyed this season more than I did the last 3.

Not sure about the animosity - its just my view.

I am putting your frustration down to the recent performance of our team which we are all pi**ed off about.

DF has his hands full and I hope some of the diplomatic noises about performance that he is making are just a management strategy whilst in the background (I hope) he is working on a way to fix the mess that we are in.

You do know that our relegation wasn't a gift or anything to those people who said they wouldn't mind it. No need to be angry at them, it was nowt to do with them

Go on, give me the dates of these 5+ hammerings we took at these places..................

If we had nt come down, surely we would nt have got rid of the squad players we did and maybe would have signed a couple ? When we came down we had to cut our cloth accordingly, we actually held onto most of the first team players.

We had a 4-0 defeat at Sunderland, but did get a 4-1 win against them, so that's pretty even.

And Spurs beat us 4-1 twice, but Spurs are a top team.

I'm saying that this year if we had stayed in the prem we would be more than likely taking these sorts of hammerings. We held onto most of our first team players as you say - look how well they are doing in a division below. Lets not forget that Peterborough could and perhaps should have scored 4 in the first 20 minutes and could have had 8 or 9 at the end overall - it was THAT bad. Coyle would have been retained as manager if we had stayed up last year - yes we would have signed a couple.......but who ?........anything better than the signings he had made prior ? Look at QPR and Villa this season and how they are getting on - no doubt we would have been down there.

For the record I'm not one of those that boo at games at half time. I don't attend every game and I don't consider myself overly negative normally but having travelled up the M6 from Northampton with an ST for over a decade, I hope my view that being in the prem would have been more miserable than being in the championship this year counts for something.

I don't remember anyone saying they'd be happy if we went down but that it wouldn't be the end of the world if we did. Call me a dickhead if you like but this season is just as enjoyable as last. In fact it's just like any other season watching the Whites. Unpredictable, sometimes great sometimes poor.

Precisely. I don't really give a shit who we're playing as long as there are 11 blokes wearing white. I get a brief buzz off being in the Premier, but I get just as much satisfaction seeing us beat Accrington as Arsenal.

That's a fair assesement. The only

problem is that certain Whites

supporters have ambition. They'd

rather see us get clobberd by

Arsenal and Chelsea rather than get

clobberd by Sheffield Wednesday

and the posh. Both are equally

painfull.

The Championship is a strange division really.

There's no guarantee that we'd be rock bottom in the premier league. As someone said about the squad, we'd have had some different players from our current situation.

I hate thinking we can/should win and then getting dicked by the likes of Peterborough.
