Me too.

Why not give a batch to every school/college in Bolton for every home game? That way we're filling the ground... and ensuring that we see far more young kids sporting their town's colours (rather than red) - something which will pay dividends in years to come.

People might moan that the atmosphere would be worse because of too many screeching children. But surely that's got to be better than the deafening sound of silence? Or the boos and groans?

they could sit them all together in say the west upper.

they say the natives up there are friendly and welcome change.

be a match made in heaven.

Over the years the club has done regular offers to get extra fans in. As a ST holder I have no problem with it. I can understand why there is a certain degree of resentment but I would much rather the club continues to make an effort. I dont think they always get it right, but on this occasion I think the offer is spot on.

Despite our terrible away record our followings away in all the circumstances have been decent this year. If we had been top six, pushing for promotion I think the demand would be higher, and this is when having a ST becomes more relevant.

have you bought any tickets for elves?

A certain elf has been bought 2 tickets fo a tenner and the same elf is now saying she/he is skint and can she/he pay in installments, this really is the last time i help an elf, i thought i was being kind but i'm learning never to trust little folk, plus they're creepy to look at.

Any ideas who this she/he elf might be???????

Only done Leicester at home this season

Reyt.

This is bollocks.

Jd bowt me a half season ticket next to her season ticket.

Am I right in understanding the club are now doling out tickets for a fiver? WANKERS.

We weighed up the £225 cost over the games left and it worked out a bit cheaper but not much if you missed a couple. Now they're selling games at a fiver.

YOU SHOWER OF SHIT. FUCK YOUR SEASON TICKET NEXT SEASON.

Don't you mean fuck your half season ticket:)

Ha aye sommat like that

Seriously though, come may when they send me the forms for next season I'll be wondering whether I should bother or wait for the offers and get in for next to fuck all instead.

Unless you wanna sit in the same seat every game,Theres no point getting a st.

I get mine cos its cheap, easy access to get beer and more importantly keeps me in the habit of going every game.

23 x £10 ticket plus a kids st at £60

£290

you lot all with season tickets will be laughing when we are in the play off semis and the rest of us cant get a ticket for the away match :db:

£290

But is the £10 tickets regular and guaranteed?

  • Author

i think its part of that deal they have with local junior clubs

not for me, i'm afraid

not least cos only 6 quid goes to bwfc

But is the £10 tickets regular and guaranteed?

I'd say so yes, every home game there's folk getting shut of them on facefuck and the like, and for many other games there's always a season tickets going spare.

The club made a big push pre-Xmas for half season ticket sales....they fucking knew full well they'd then sell cheap tickets soon after. Wankers. Put it this way, if a shop had pulled a cunts trick like that then the only chance of me going back there would be to shit in something.

If I'd got one last summer for £350 or whatever they are then it might not seem as bad but they've had £225 for about a dozen games and then start doling out £5 tickets.

But is the £10 tickets regular and guaranteed?

yes but your in the north upper

fcuk me, you're not selling it to me

My mates did it last season and sat all over the ground

The club has been running similar deals for years now - if there's anyone who tipped up for a half season ticket thinking it was going to be Cat A all the way for the other mugs, they want their head looking at.

And what shop sells stuff before Christmas with a caveat that you'll be able to get the same stuff for half the price if you hang on for the sale a fortnight later?

The club is doing its best to fill the ground when it would otherwise be empty - they'd be getting slated by the same folk if they'd done nowt and let the gates dwindle down to 12,000.

Smiffs has bought a half season ticket for £200+ quid

He could of bought match tickets for these 12 games for £110

I don’t agree that you can buy match tickets for less than the price of a season ticket.

The whole idea of season tickets is money upfront for the club off loyal supporters.

The club then lets other folk come to the ground and pay LESS than the loyal supporters who have stumped up money in advance.

This situation is only going to see a decrease in season ticket sales imo.

The cheapest seats (over a season) should be for the people who have season tickets!

Exactly. The largest problem they've got is current ST holders who think the world owes them something. You've got your seat guaranteed, no pissing about, get to buy away tickets first and when we get to Wembley, guess who gets 2 tickets each!

And this offer is only open to season ticket holders! The once in a lifetime opportunity to buy cheap North Stand wing tickets for Bolton v Peterborough in January, a game that would normally sell out weeks in advance.

While the money generated by season ticket sales is not to be sniffed at, it's no longer the lifeblood of the club. In reality, it pays the salary of five players (or buys you a David Ngog), so you have to be very specific if you're shouting "I pay your wages" these days.

I'd suggest actual value for money is well down the list for many when they buy their season ticket but, sales were to fall away sharply in the summer, it would be interesting to see what the club dooes to address it.

I don't see an empty ground as a viable solution, though.

Cheapest ST was North Lower £285 (Av £12.39 per game)

East/West lower £369 (Av £16.04 per game)

Non - season ticket holders could of seen every game this season for £220 (Av £9.56 per game) 21 games x £10 plus 2 games @ £5 each

Out of this, the club would have only received £136 (av £5.47 per game)

Not sure how many club in England would do something like this!!!!
