Southfields on the way in, Wimbledon on the way back. Though if you're driving, the park & ride will take you straight to the grounds & eliminate that half mile walk at both ends of the day.

Thanks for the info on second thoughts I might let the train take the strain so I can neck a few pimms.  :)

I'd love to get a ticket for Wimbledon. I've missed out in the ballot for the last 2 years. Most miffed.

Got 2 tickets because my son has been LTA coached and member for 5-6 years now, one of his coaches something to do with ballots don't know if that helped us. It's one of those event on my bucket list, got long way to go to accomplish the rest I must say, id better get a move on.????

You stand a better chance as a tennis club member than in the public ballot, though it will depend upon the number of club members who opt into the ballot & the distance from Wimbledon. We don't have a massive number of members who want to go as it's not cheap & most have been many times before. I used to rock up for the cheap evening tickets where you could just walk in, but recently the queues for that have made it not worthwhile.

Stan's playing very well, and the further he gets in a tournament, the better he plays. Wouldn't say it's a foregone conclusion that Nadal beats Thiem either - Thiem's the only person who's beaten Nadal on clay this year.

Called the first one right :D

It was great to see Rafa back to his best, we're never going to see anybody as good as him on clay again.Muzza would have more ranking points if he'd beaten Stan but i think he might be relieved to have avoided playing Nadal in that form!

Djokovic 11/2 to wimbledon, what's happened to him

stopped taking PED's?

That is a cheap shot.

Djokovic (like Murray) is now 30. He reached the top level earlier, winning his first Major at 20.

In contrast, Murray did not win a Major until he was 25.

Murray has appeared in 11 finals, winning 3, Djovokic has 21 finals with 12 wins.

There is a limited lifespan in the top flight in almost any sport, and certainly tennis.

Just been given tkts for Court 1 on 10th July

So excited I have a major hard on. If Nadal plays on it that day it'll explode

Best day for tickets as long as it doesn't rain. Give us a wave.
