I've always said it's possible along with Casino and Radcliffewhite1...........................so,after todays destruction of Hull, are we confident of reaching them,or is it another false dawn ?

You know my thoughts on it,we're going up

lets take each game at a time

Can't see it myself, but would be great to put a good run together.

Might put a bit of pressure on one or two of the teams up there.

Slowly,slowly catchee monkey.

Be interesting if we could pull to within say, 5/6 pts with 6 games to go.

Give us a chance that.

lets take each game at a time

Don't be daft.

Anybody would think you knew something about the game, the way you go on. :D

i wonder what the odds on us going up are now then ?

soon be like a rolling snowball

i've had a bizarre dream and we beat palace at wembley 3-0 in the play-off final

soon be like a rolling snowball

Melting away to nothing before April?

you lot must be on glue....

first game for a while on Tuesday and apart from the first 20 minutes we were dogshit...

absolutely awful...the standard of football is shocking...

There were 2 very valid reasons for that though

And posh's football was quite good, they are rock bottom

I agree some are getting carried away, however, the day you praise the team is the day we lift the champions league.

Only if the squad is strong enough to compete domestically as well as in Europe.

Not quite...

But if you think that the football on offer, is good enough then your on crack...

we'd get fucked royally in the prem with performances like that...

Much as it pains me to say it

I'd be very worried if we pulled off a magnificent streak and went up this season

I know the financial benefits but can't help but wonder if we'd be better set with another year under DF at this level??*

* assuming we mount a serious challenge next season

we would be no worse off than any other promoted team

Well that's not true as all teams have a different chance of survival due to lots of factors

I'm more concerned about us though

And it appeared readily accepted a week or two ago that we have a rookie Manager and a squad light years from when we were good enough to sustain EPL football

Don't get me wrong I'd take promotion tomorrow, but there is a chance it may not be best for us.

It's not an absolute, I'm just not sure

Nearly the same squad as last season and we shouldn't have gone down.

With, probably, a superior manager and staff

The different in quality between the shit in the prem and us will never be so thin IMO

next year prem team will start getting a lot of cash, which obviously will increase the chance if that widening

Say we did get to the play-off final. Would anyone not go after Stoke?

I'd personally love another trip to Wembley.

I wouldn't go as the mrs is due to pop 2 days later.

I see where you're coming from, but as next season could quite easily go either way based on what have seen so far, I'd take it right now and worry later if we're good enough

plus whatever squad we have now, I imagine it will be weaker the longer we spend in this league

unless it's a transisitional period a la taking todd's talented team that got relegated and ending up getting promoted with the more pragmatic fat sam team that did actually manage to stay up

but as said, not convinced either way from what I've seen of DF this season to think there'll be success at the other end of this transistion

i'd take it now as the money involved next season will see it get a whole lot tougher. Money doesn't guarantee success but it certainly helps.

Look at the squad we had when FSA took us up,2 years later it was cluttered with names known worldwide.

In may at Wembley when we're back in the prem, you'll be saying ''that cunt was right'' MMW

Still have to play both of 'em though.

At home, must wins.

But yeah, a bummer they both won today.

A few twists and turns yet.
