Plays Off On The Horizon ?

I've always said it's possible along with Casino and Radcliffewhite1...........................so,after todays destruction of Hull, are we confident of reaching them,or is it another false dawn ?

You know my thoughts on it,we're going up

It would be a nice way to mark the ten year anniversary of our last season in the third tier - Super John's penalty against Preston made it 11 wins from our last 13 games.

might seem like only 10 years, but it's 20 years.

I meant the ten year anniversary of the ten year anniversary, smarty pants.

We're getting promoted. I'm that confident, I've stuck a quid on it. CONFIDENT.

What are you gonna do with the other 4 quid?

He would be better off sticking all the £5 on the roulette

28-1 is crap odds

it is a big task to get there, but we've done it before against all the odds, and as stated previous our squad is strong, probably the strongest in the division. team spirit is evidently back, the side is getting harder to beat and seem to be more confident than for a while. Get 2 or 3 more wins on the bounce and the play-offs will certainly appear feasible

28/1 isn't great, but I'd say 33/1 was about right.

16/1 on William Hill. Piss poor.

Only 13.0 on betfair now!!

What's the Bolton up, West Ham down double?

West Ham are 9.2.

I think Wigan are great value at 2.16. Wigan v Villa on the last day of the season might be a cracker.

It certainly would. A win against Hull was pivotal in that run too!

Forget the Play-offs!!It,s a damn near impossibility,We would have to rely on a cracking run-in.!But also expect 7 or 8 other sides to collapse..Consolidate for this season, with the Emphasis on a good pre-season,get everyone fit as a fiddle, ready for an all out assault on it next season....It,s a wonderful thought for this season but,Pie in the Sky....It,s too late now but we could carry a good finish to this season into next!!!!!!!!

I'm more than confident the 7 or 8 teams will collapse, it whether we can do it or not.

No, We have to beat Brighton at home and hope they have a terrible run

They seem to have easy fixtures until the end

Middlesboro have gone, we will catch them, no problem

Are you kidding? Do you remember anything at all about the confidence we had last year whn comparing our run-in to that of Wigan?

We've already sussed out that every team is capable of beating every other team in this league.

Wigan beating Man Utd and Arsenal doesn't make them as easy matches as playing Stoke and West Brom.Wigan have a piss easy run in this season like Bolton did last season, but unlike Bolton have enough quality players to stay up.Wigan actually have better players than Villa and QPR, Bolton didn't, they'd sold/freed the better ones or they were injured.

Ahem! I am sure there was another. Can't remember exactly who.............................

I'm not sure it's time for 'I told you so' just yet.

I know for a fact I have 20/20 hindsight. I'm not convinced your foresight is as accurate.

Wigan actually have better players than Villa and QPR, Bolton didn't, they'd hounded out the better ones or they were injured.

Exactly, its far from it.No way we'll get 3/32 points from 13 games. Alot of mid table prem teams would struggle to get that point total if they had play our remaining gamesI think we could have a good run and again 26 points or so but not in the 30s

May not be time for 'I told you so' but so nice to read some positive comments amongst the tidal wave of negative shit which seems to be the norm on here.

I think we could have a good run and again 26 points or so but not in the 30s

And that's why the team just have to concentrate on their own results, and let the rest take care of themselves.

I've already said 27 points from now is feasible, finishing on 69.

That usually isn't enough but this season the division has been more open than the norm.

Middlesbrough have an 'easy' month, but if they hold Chelsea tomorrow they can be distracted by the FA Cup.

Only Cardiff seem 'safe' yet if they drop to third they will enter the playoffs on a down.

And they have yet to visit Middlesbrough, Watford and Hull, plus SheffWed and Peterborough at the other end.

So long as 9 or 10 teams remain in contention for top six places, then the points will be shared around.

Only if 6 of the current top 9 break clear will sixth place be much above 70 points this season, but Bolton cannot control that.
