Plays Off On The Horizon ?

I've always said it's possible along with Casino and Radcliffewhite1...........................so,after todays destruction of Hull, are we confident of reaching them,or is it another false dawn ?

You know my thoughts on it,we're going up

Not bothered about it this year. Lets just have a strong finish and see where we are. A decent finish should stand us in good stead for next season when we win every match.

Surely Ipswich can't go down. They have big mick in charge.

Not won back to back yet and 10 points off play offs. Lets finish the season strongly and take the division by storm next season. Try not to get too carried away !

Bang on my thoughts - a strong finish would be great then hammer it next season. This division is shit, any team with some sort of consistency will piss it.

In Dougie we trust

If they do, I'm £100 up on Anewmug #easymoney

whats that bet again anyway?

£50 we finish above Ipswich this season

£50 we finish above Ipswich next season

Won't happen, and even if it did promotion would be the worst thing we could do right now.

Build, and have a laugh next year while we piss it and go up strong.

That's where I am. Do it with style next season once we are stronger. I don't want us to be emabarrassed and come straight back down.

Can't see it. Things are coming together nicely but we still lack the consistency. I also think promotion this year wouldn't do us any favours in the long term. We're building. If we went up, all that would have to go out the window as we'd be doing whatever it took to try and stay up. Carry on the process, and look for improvement year on year.....

We have left it too late, automatic promotion next season.

Play offs always been on the horizon. This season is a "pre, pre-season"

It's ok. He doesn't come to the games anymore. He's too busy championing tv for the masses.

He'll be back when we're in the prem. He'll never know the feeling of a match at the Shay or Twerton Park

3 out of next 4 at home too

I will stick my neck out.... IF and IF we get to the play offs I think we will go up because we are getting stronger and as somebody said quality will show through

We'll not make the play-offs. We'll draw too many.

Not arsed tbh. As long as we finish well, get rid of the shite in the summer and go into next season with a winning mentaility then we'll piss it. We'll go unbeaten.

Qualify for the play offs and relegate Blackpool all in the same day.

YHIHF.

I don't think I could handle that much joy in 1 game.

If the top 7 continue on their form over the season they will all reach 69 points or more.

Chances are some will fall away.

Essentially it is out of Bolton's hands but if they simply take each match as it comes anything is possible.

If they win six and draw one at home that's 19 points.

If away they win two, draw two and lose two that's another 8.

So 69 is feasible (and more is possible) and I think that will reach sixth this season.

Quite fancy Hull and then Palace in the playoffs (after relegating Blackpool, of course).

I think it will be more like 72 points required for sixth.

Just beyond us unless we win 10/13 which would be some run.

It would be a nice way to mark the ten year anniversary of our last season in the third tier - Super John's penalty against Preston made it 11 wins from our last 13 games.

Bumped into the guy on Saturday who conceded the penalty, Bolton fella Simon Burton
