Ipswich 1 Wanderers 0

Will we beat Mad Mick's side?

The momentum is now with the Whites who are looking to make it 6 wins on the bounce.

What's your prediction for this game?

Well, that's been coming because we're just not "that" good just yet   And I don't mean that in a negative way   We've improved loads, it may just be too late. You never know though, there's still

Craig Davies is bog average at best, Sordell clearly isn't trusted and Ngog just can't seem to put it all together.   Given that they're our only realistic options, I don't see how deriding Kevin Da

Think we will pull up short , but all the teams above us , except forest seem to be losing form so its not over yet.

Between us, Leicester and Brighton for 6th I reckon

Brighton are out of form and only have 1 striker

Leicester have to play us yet, we beat them and we're 2 behind.

I still believe. Coyw

That's how I see it. We were 5 points off the play offs this morning & despite losing, we still are !! Hopefully, Brighton won't win tomorrow & then this weekend won't have been disastrous.

I'll be happy if we're still in with a shout when we go to Leicester.

Looking at Leicester's run, we've still got a very good chance. Need Palace to win tomorrow.

Just got back

If we play like we did today there is no chance at all of reaching the play offs; utter dogshit

Bringing on SKD has once again turned into a disaster; we just lump it and win nothing with him on.

7 hours driving and really pissed off at the moment

I'm nowhere near as gutted about not getting there now.

Every cloud etc :D

Not a chance with a performance like today

Let me know I am the moaning cunt at Charlton

is the fella you picked up the teacher?

will do

Teacher?

There is lots of shit in this division but when you dont have one clear chance at goal in 90 minutes against what I believe are a very poor team then my statement stands - we wont be taking part in the play offs.

isn't their recent home form ok

barnsleys is excellent, i think

chins up

i thought you said you were picking up mr bell?

Never heard of Tyrone Mings, apparently plays for Ipswich. Nice of him anyway.

Unlucky, really unlucky.

But perhaps we have been a little lucky in the past few.

It's not over yet.

We didn't see you there and what was all that crap about the game being called off?

Like Casino said you must be on some happy pills at the moment - how can you say we were unlucky

I reckon you stayed in Cheltenham and didn't turn up for that restaurant you booked

Must admit, just seen the highlights and only Chris Eagles had a chance. Not good that

Listened to the game this morning over Wanderers Player. Sounded like a tough game, to be expected really considering they're fighting against relegation.

Avoided the forum afterwards because I was predicting "season over" and "told you we should have got Big Mick".

Checked it tonight, seems I was right.

For what it's worth, I think we're still in with a really good shout as we're still in better form than a couple of the teams around us.

Mick McCarthy, a better manager than Freedman, has put the final nail in this season's coffin.Players that aren't well managed enough to beat Ipswich won't be winning 6 out of 8.The decision to send on Kevin Davies when chasing the winner at 0-0 was pathetic.5 straight wins from a easy run including 4 home games gave Freedman an outside chance of promotion but he's fucked it up in the first slightly difficult away game.Scrub that, playing Ipswich with what we've got shouldn;t be slightly difficult it should be 3 comfortable points with competent management.Sending on a hasbeen to try and force the winner isn't competent management.

A setback yes, but hardly the final nail in the coffin. 5 points behind with 8 to play. Keep the faith. O wait you never had any.

Not sure if you're fishing or not but that 'easy' run consisted of a local derby and 2 teams above us including 2nd in the table who we walloped

Lost one match in 9, get over it. Mc Carthy a better manager than Freedman, the clue's in league positions were 8th their 18th enough said.

Freedman is working with a higher class of player than McCarthy, a £30 million wage bill compared to a fraction of that at Ipswich. The playing field is as level as when we played the likes of Newcastle and Tottenham ie sloped in their favour.Bigger payers with better players should win,

4 home matches in 5, 3 of the 5 teams in the bottom 6

If that's not an easy run then there's unlikely to ever be one.

Why do people wank over big Mick? Roy Keane was right - he was a shit player and is a shit manager.

So what's your point. To me us in 8th them in 18th doesn't suggest McCarthy is a better manager.

Expectations are much lower at Ipswich due to them having much less money to pay players. When McCarthy took the job success was staying up and he'll achieve it.If we don't get promoted this season, and we won't, Freedman won't have been successful.

so over the course of a whole season you rekon big mick would be better? Freedman had some major problems to address in that squad plus yes he is working with better players and big contracts which were not his signings

4 home matches in 5, 3 of the 5 teams in the bottom 6

I don't think it's a easy run, at this time of the season I'd rather be playing them that have nothing to play for, the DMB's managed a 1-0 home win against Reading. Ipswich dug deep, limited our attack and scored a late one, a few of them at the bottom will be doing that till the end of this season believe me.
