Ipswich 1 Wanderers 0

Will we beat Mad Mick's side?

The momentum is now with the Whites who are looking to make it 6 wins on the bounce.

What's your prediction for this game?

Well, that's been coming because we're just not "that" good just yet   And I don't mean that in a negative way   We've improved loads, it may just be too late. You never know though, there's still

Craig Davies is bog average at best, Sordell clearly isn't trusted and Ngog just can't seem to put it all together.   Given that they're our only realistic options, I don't see how deriding Kevin Da

3 wins in 19 away from home. Joint worst in league

On the basis of the last two aways that I was present which was Forest and Ipswich it doesn't look like changing.

We were poor first half yesterday against what looked like the worse team I have seen for a long time. Second half we did go for it more and was looking dangerous up to the SKD substitution. It was not just Kev though; we dont have a goal scorer and Craig Davies looked poor as did Sordell in the last five minutes. Ngog controls the ball brilliantly then gives it away.

We have been on a great run but have not been playing that well.

Has there been progress since DF was appointed I would say yes. I am sure he must know that the bunch of front men are not good enough and he will replace them eventually.

We should have taken the points yesterday and didn't deserve to leave without any because Ipswich created nothing second half apart from the chance Zat Knight give them and their goal.

Like many as said we are still in with a chance of a play off place and with a couple of loan signings before Charlton we could win the next 4 games as on paper they are winnable.

As much as I appreciate what SKD has done for the club it is time for a replacement

What a poor game. That sad Munich twat ballooning was about as exciting as it got

Somebody needs to call bullshit at some point.

I called it at this point, stopped wasting my team reading any more of the clowns ramblings after that.

Mick McCarthy, a better manager than Freedman, has put the final nail in this season's coffin.Players that aren't well managed enough to beat Ipswich won't be winning 6 out of 8.The decision to send on Kevin Davies when chasing the winner at 0-0 was pathetic.5 straight wins from a easy run including 4 home games gave Freedman an outside chance of promotion but he's fucked it up in the first slightly difficult away game.Scrub that, playing Ipswich with what we've got shouldn;t be slightly difficult it should be 3 comfortable points with competent management.Sending on a hasbeen to try and force the winner isn't competent management.

This.

Though I give Craig D more credit for his control & workrate, but doesn't look much more of a goalscorer than the others so far.

And Sordell needs a run of games in the team to be able to judge.

And Ipswich cut us open too often for comfort 1st half.

Truth is - DF has a very big job on his hands. Of the better players for us at the moment, three (Spearing, Dawson & Alonso) may well not even be with us next August. Mark Davies is out for the year, and we don't really know if Holden will come back into the team. I've seen the last 4 games and we're not getting much better at passing the ball or creativity yet, but better in organisation, workrate & commitment. It's a start.

Otherwise a great day out, if a bit long. Sordell gave his shirt to the mascot at the end of the match, and signed it later. The lad is well made up. Caught up with the London Whites I know. Not exactly spoiled by the match, but not too impressed yet.

Just seem the goal

How pathetic was alonsos defending

Just seem the goal

How pathetic was Ricketts defending

embarrassing

Correct it was

What was the pitch like? I'm not saying we play ultimate on the ground football but by accounts our pitch is bob on (good home form).

Charltons is hurrendous isn't it?

Never heard of Tyrone Mings, apparently plays for Ipswich. Nice of him anyway.

Would've preferred it had he turned up only to find out mings was someone fucking about with a fake account

And who would do that Zico?!

:D

Fuck me, if ever there was a goal where the collective was at fault rather than the individual, that was it.

More than half the team are stood about doing knob all.

If Spearing or Chungy gets around Ricketts, there's no cross to deal with.

Once there is a ball in, any one of three or four players should be able to stop it going all the way across the box.

Given that none of the half a dozen players in the box stopped the cross, you could be forgiven for thinking there wouldn't be two or three Ipswich players arriving unmarked in the middle.

Dreadful defending all round.

After yesterday and today's results (Brighton winning) our season comes down to "can we steam into 6th place?". By doing so it would imply winning at Leicester and Brighton losing a couple more. If we can not do our bit then we don't deserve to be in the play offs. The Sussex arse bandits had their fill of goals today;they will be shy of a few in the coming games. That performance yesterday was what we had coming after a couple of skinny 1-0s at home. Go from here flat out and we'll see where we are after 46 games. I am sure we will finish 6th behind Palace,Watford and Forest. I am equally sure we would wipe the floor with the lot of them in the play offs.

Which would have been prevented by alonso either marking his man to start with on not turning his back on the shot

Pathetic

Love positivity but were relying on Brighton and Leicester messing up and us winning 6 out of 7 I'd say its a tall tall order and unlikely we can do our bit let alone the other teams failing to do there bit.

Not a committed effort from Alonso he can go for me not worried about losing him, Zat Knight can drive him there and sadly Kev Davies can fill the tank and Mears can share the ride get rid of that 4 and spend the 80 grand a week save on some Commited hungry players.

For the size of him he is the softest cunt ever to play for the whites

He never gets stuck in

Because everyone knows that size is directly proportional to how 'tough' you are...

Freedmans got to go, surely he can see knights a soft cunt a liability and wtf is he doing bringing on donkey davies ffs. What's that other game recently he did exactly the same at 0-0 and we lost?

Good try mate.

We have only lost 3 times since New Year and imagine if you could be asked trawling through those games not sure it happened in any of those.

What's concerning me is that K.Davies seems to have become an important player for us again over the last 3 games at the expense of Sordell.

Dougie knows more than me though and I trust him ... but it's still baffling me.

I didn't have any problem with SKD coming on on Sat. At the time the ball wasn't sticking up front - after he came on we forced them back a bit and had a different option, and he did lay on a half-decent chance for n'gog..our problem was we just couldn't create anything.

Does the ball actually stick when it gets lumped to him or does it more often than not either result in a free-kick to them, it being flicked on to no-one or it simply coming straight back?

For me, the sooner he's gone and no longer available for selection the better.

So does Dougie know better than you or not?
