March 28, 201313 yr proper douglas signing somebody he knows from watching Birmingham at the Reebok pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease
March 28, 201313 yr He gets boos, called a fat lazy cunt and just general all round heckling from some numpties in the NSL Really pisses me off when I hear that shit spouted by muppets!! SKD is a Bolton legend, Bolton through and through who deserves a testimonial and to be well treated by BWFC. I know his form isn't what it was blah, blah, blah - but we will do well to find another player like him who has done what he has for Bolton.

March 28, 201313 yr not a legend though Ok the word legend gets banded about far too often, but he IMO he is a legend
March 28, 201313 yr Apart from Nat, SKD has done more, for a longer period of time and at the highest level than any other BWFC legend.

Paying him a few million quid not treating someone right?

I think he's very close to legendary status been our focal point for 8 years been battered and bruised through our most successful period of the last 50 years, club captain, England cap and respected by all professionals, if you don't like him as a person its not a reason to have negative view on the part he has played in a great period of our history, many thanks for all you did SKD.

Not sure about the testimonial though. On what basis?

March 28, 201313 yr Feel for Davies now, boxed himself into a corner - especially with interested clubs (seemingly) no keen on giving him a decent deal for next season, which sounds like the sticking point for his move. He needs to get his wife out of the picture professionally and concentrate on getting back into the team. He'll find it tougher getting a deal next year if he doesn't.
March 28, 201313 yr So does this render him unpickable? i'd say his performances this season had done that and, if theres sides to be picked, i'm definitely with #teambwfc and not #teamdavies if he plays, though, good luck to him i do think he will prove freedman right, if he does
March 28, 201313 yr Agree on form yes, Even if he were selected his heads going to be up his arse, so it's a no from me,
