I don't think he can be an all time legend after that statement Great servant to the club yes, but not an all time legend. Okocha was only here 4 or 5 years but he is definitely an all time legend for me.Not sure if there's another in that time.Anelka and Djorkaeff fantastic players but not here long enough.Davies here long enough but not the impact of others. April 1, 201313 yr SKD had made his money well before his move to BWFC with his massive transfer fee from Southampton to Blackburn. He then went to Millwall on loan, his career was in the doldrums and he resurrected it with BWFC. Throughout these years he has put in 100%, never shirked a challenge and shown tremedous loyalty. How many players these days do 10 years with a PL club? He has also embraced the whole area of Bolton with his excellent charity work. You cannot compare him to JJ, Youri, Campo for his ablity i know but give me SKD any day of the week. Being a legend isn't just about playing ability, its much more than that. Loyalty in football doesnt exist these days and SKD has shown it with 10 years service. I accept that he may have had too much power within the club and i also accept that DF has made a brave decision - fair play to him for this. But he deserved better and it's been handled poorly.
