Wanderers 2 Blackpool 2

Blackpool fan in peace. We have been given an allocation of just 2,305 for our last fixture of the season.

http://www.blackpoolfc.co.uk/news/article/ticket-news-bolton-wanderers-765947.aspx

Considering we took 4,000 to Blackburn, we would expect around 4,500 to travel to Bolton. I know our away stand is small so perhaps you are returning the favour, but is there any reason why the allocation is so small compared to the Premier League game?

Thanks in advance.

No, we're not a particularly big club when compared to many. But when compared to Blackpool, yes, we are. If we finish 8th this season, our current position, that'll be our worst league placing since

Didn't realise orange cowboy hats were the hallmark of an 'old skool following' but there you go. Did make an entertaining change to be sat right on the edge of West Lower today rather than my usual spot in North Lower.

Df has been in the majority spot on but I hope he fuvking realises that eagles in 451 has never worked in the general season, and, didnt worked at Leicester and never worked today!

It gives him to much freedom to feck about. And ends up with one of centre mids covering right mid leaving a huge gap in the middle.

Hall could be a decent player but aving im on t'right with the plan that eagles and hall could cover right means that it's hall or nothing.

Df didn't learn his lesson from Leicester away where eagles was no where in 451 but brilliant at 442 on the right. So I hope he learnt summat today

Funny that you mention the violence. Don't blame you though as the football is a write off ha.

Can't believe you are not allowing my posts...says it all. Bless.

Why start with one up front and a lad who's never played for us? Soon realised at 2:0 down that he'd got it so terribly wrong. So much good work undone in 20 minutes.

Ah well

Onwards and upwards

You're joking right?

The spineless tossers had just bottled it against a pisspoor Blackpool team.

That's what today was.A bottle job, just like Stoke and Leicester

Too many on this payroll don't have the bottle for it.

Applaud some overpaid cunts who've just fucked it up against Blackpool? Laughable

Please...

Do one...

That is all.

At 1am, better things to be doing you sad twat. And with that, I'll bid you a fond farewell.

Fear not, the WW end of season is upon us and Smithills Gent is out of contract.

Well done Carlos

It's time to move on now and look forward to next season we have to keep the faith and hope our manager

Turns it round

Was absolutely gutted immediately after the result from leicester came through at the ground yesterday. But a couple of hours later. I was still gutted but think we gave it one hell of a go to get in that postion.

And let's face it come August we will be in a better position than last! I feel for the first time in a long time despite his mistakes yesterday we have a manager that we can all get behind and sooner rather than later we will be succssful with him! It's going to be a shit summer but roll on August!!

He is a bit strange, though, Dougie

"who's our number 17?"

I've not read any post match comments yet but if that cunt seasider says a word I will.... Well I won't say on net what I will do

Just read a bit...

Wonder how much a return to Lytham on train is?

Getting a lucky draw is no reason for your fans to celebrate like you just got promoted. Small club mentality.

Scotts car park resembled a spooked buffalo migration across the plains of Africa at one point yesterday.

Angry bunch. :D

Cant be arsed nit picking the result, some things aren't just meant to be.

Under ESL when we scored the second is up there with the Bob Taylor goal at Old Trafford as the pottiest goal celerbration I have been in.

Love it.

COYWM

Naturally gutted but mixed feelings too.

Two years ago. my then boss (a Leicester fan based in the US) was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer which is one of the most destuctive cancers you can get. We'd enjoyed a lot of football banter over the years and although I am sure this wasn't the only deciding factor, he recommended I should be promoted to succeed him over the heads of some probably better qualified candidates.

He has declined dramarically of late and I was in the US last week hopimg amongst other things to see him. Unfortunately the end is nigh and he was too ill to see me but we had a nice but poignant and difficult conversation about this weekend's permutations.

I doubt he will get to see the results of the play-offs (although I think this is helping him hang on) but he has passed his enthusiasm for Leicester on to his two daughters (same ages as my own) and I for one hope that they go on to win their way up to the Premiership.

Good on you Robert - it's been a pleasure to know you.

Which does put it all into perspective.

We weren't really at the races yesterday and somehow we still nearly did it. We gave it a great go this season. Looking forward to next. I hope Blackpool enjoy their open top bus parade for keeping us out of the play offs. I thought they were going to present them a trophy for it at the end. I don't think anything since V E day has been celebrated so hard on the fylde coast

Blackpool proved themselves to be very Tranmere yesterday. An incrediblely small time attitude and perhaps the gayest song I've ever heard in 'seasiders'

Our fans were brilliant yesterday, flares and all. Even a Bolton fan on our website said so.

What were all those happy clappy white things about?

We should have won that game and been out of sight before half time.

What is that shit munichesque song they sing only heard it from 2 clubs it makes me wonder if a large part of there fans double up as United fans.

Without knowing I'd say nailed on mounts.

Nail on head.

Agree with the last bit, but hey Ho. What were the Tranmere like celebrations all about?

One major gripe from yesterday, CYL!

He has never lived up how good people thought he was since he came back from his injury, yesterday he had a complete and utter fucking mare.

Watch him for their 2nd goal, their full back jogs past him, he can't be arsed to follow him, leaves Alonso 2 on 1 and in an impossible position to stop the cross. Lee all the way through this walks about 3 yards and watches it unfold in front of him.

He then continued to jog about, got pushed off the ball multiple times like he has all through the season (why has nobody got him on a fucking weights programme?) and then when his big chance came and Eagles lays it on a fucking plate for him he tries to dink it!!!!

I couldn't believe what i'd seen, we need a goal so much, 10 minutes to go, he's through 1 on 1... SMASH THE FUCKING BALL!! If the keeper saves it then so be it, but don't fucking dink it you twat!!

Add to all that that he is incapable of beating a man and numerous times completely stitched Alonso by failing to make a run in behind the defence but instead just let Alonso move past past him with the ball while he watches.

Lee still has a reputation throughout other clubs as being a good player and i've no doubt that somebody would pay at least £4m for him, if anybody offers anything like that then get rid of him and let Dougie spend it wisely.

Angry bunch.

So angry that some prick abused my friend, her mum and her two 5 year old boys who were trying to get out of the car park. She asked them to move so she could drive off and he started calling her all the names under the sun and told her she shouldn't be bringing kids to the match - surely the stupidest comment ever.

I hope you're reading this and are proud of yourself big man.
