Would You Rather Go Up Now Or Not ?

Featured Replies

Now it's guaranteed to be in our own hands, would you prefer us to go up this season or next season ?

WHEN we get promoted after walloping Palace at Wembley, the squad will undoubtedly need major strengthening. I trust Douglas in that department and he will use his vast network to come up with a few gems. 4 or 5 quality sigings is an absolute minimum

If we stay down then it's all jolly well saying ''it's been a good season in the championship,,,good away days out.....bournemouth next season.. blah blah blah. I fully understand and echo those sentiments

But with the financial implications and rewards on offer, every fan hand on heart should honestly want the Wanderers to go up and not risk being left behind.

If I can have a double with Wigan coming down, then this will go down as a truly fantastic season

Difficult one, always said we were here for a good time, not a long time !

Has been a great season for away days but long term we need to be where the money is in the Prem. Then we can dream of Europe again. It's in our hands, roll on Cardiff...

Even though I hate the premiership for it being so money orientated, I know the only place our club has any chance of sorting out it finances is unfortunately there. So even thought he Championship has definitely be more fun we need to go up.

I never want to go up again with our boo boys

I always want Wanderers to win... so yes I want to go up, but next time we go down I won't be as disappointed when I think of the great away days to come

I know it's a long shot but there were no better days than the European away trips

problem you have imo is that this league has been very wide open top and bottom and i stick by its been of poor standard,so we have to take any oportunity to go up.

I have heard comments like stay down this year and smash the league next season yes we have improved but so will other teams and you have the teams on the way down who will be strong.

Smiffs was explaining to me the old system of promotion in RL. Where you could go up or alternatively stay down but still have the cash.

I like that idea. :)

I can honestly say I've not missed being in the premiership but not having the money may mean we have to go up for the club to survive

Not bothered either way, but if we stay down there's a group of us who will be travelling to the majority of away games, the Barnsley video sold that to the lads. If we go up were not as bothered funnily enough.

I understand what your saying BB, we've taken far bigger away followings this year than we did last, if we go up, our away fallowing will fall off again, which is bizarre considering the PL is supposedly the ultimate

It looks a laugh in this league, not being filmed and shepherded about, who wants to pay top dollar for that?

Has the cost of away games in this division been a factor, as well as plenty pay on the day schemes. Hence more turning out?

While I want us to go up,because that means we have won games,I am not reet arsed about being in the cash cow that is the prem,Granted the club need the money, but that is too stay afloat. The"Fans" who benifet are the armchair streaming and Flying Flute ones who will get to see the games. The fans that go just get screwed by the inflated prices some clubs charge.I have watched us in every division and loved it all,I would really love another European tour though.

Up

For the long term future of the club

Even if we come back down again

160 million or whatever it is says up.

Up every time

Can we play our home games against PL teams and our away games against Championship teams?

Up. I'm sure this won't be our last rendezvous with the championship in our life time folks.

Still had a bit of that this season. Barnsley comes to mind

If we was guaranteed promotion next season then stay down.

Promotion will mean the end of sordell, vela, eaves and all the other kids we have. None of them will get a sniff in the prem. which means we'll spunk money on other players, never sell anyone for decent money, therefore meaning will carry on as a going concern losing millions in the prem as opposed to losing more millions in the championship.

Plus it'll be back to the days of being 2-0 down at half time rather than 0-0 or 1-0 up. Bogdan really will be getting some stick next season.

Do Bear,s shit in the Woods?

Do Bear,s shit in the Woods?

If they do, that's a bloody long trip for the polar bear

I still don't think we're ready, but if the money is available for DF to spend, and he has the connections he'll need, I say yes. Up.

I want us to go up, just for the money. Have loved this season though and cant think of many away games id be excited about. I suppose we have been spoiled the last ten years as I suspect fans of the teams around us would be very excited about it all.
