They were both exhausted & running on fumes.

Yarde had him going in the 8th round, McGirt threatened to stop the fight in the next round if Kovalev didn’t offer something back.

In the end Yarde was gassed & had nothing left, a brave effort though.

Kovalev could fight Canelo next. He’ll get stopped to the body & retire after that as he's a spent force.

Just gonna watch the rerun now. Got my times wrong 🙁

Just catching up, watched it as live

2 or 3 rounds straight out of a rocky film

Fury is a slick boxer and he is awkward but Wilder has that punch power that is a great leveller i expect Wilder to catch fury late on and no getting up for Fury this time.

I can see Fury being stronger & better this time, Wilder not so. As you say though he only needs to land the one punch.

Campbell v Lomachenko tonight.

Late stoppage, out of his depth here the boy

Any links for this?

Fucking ridiculous. An insult to the sport.

All these fights when an amateur decides after 12 weeks of training, they can get in a ring under professional rules are insulting. Flintoff pissed me off when he did it, same when Rubber lips Ferdinand said he was gonna do it. It’s a circus and an insult to the sport and the professionals who dedicate their lives to it.

I nearly said I hope one of em gets proper injured. That’d be a bit harsh. But can’t stop thinking it :D
