I have no interest in the heavyweight division anymore. They are taking us for mugs.

How I feel too

In fairness, middleweight has always been my favourite division to watch. Quick enough to need the skills, heavy enough to bang. Benn, Eubank sort of era really. Loved Hatton at LWW and Calzaghe at SMW. Heavys can do 1

Fucking hell. The shit year for sport continues

Joshua was overhyped. Was always gonna happen sooner rather than later, fury would annihilate him.

I don't think it would have taken Wilder long to take him out either, his defence is poor & he's about as mobile as Frank Bruno.

Wilder was quick to make that point after the fight, which is fair enough seeing that AJ has been badmouthing him and calling him chicken for some time now. Quite liked AJ when he was respectful to other boxers, but he's been shooting his mouth of a lot recently and it was clear he showed Ruiz no respect as he seemed ill-prepared and over-confident about winning - despite Ruiz's record. These lads are heavyweights so there's absolutely no room for that kind of complacency. Maybe he learned something last night and will come back a better fighter - which he'll have to do now seeing as they'll all fancy their chances against him. Winning the rematch is a must.

Great news to wake up to.

Nice performance from Smith too, must be having a go with Canelo at some point soon.

Joshua had been in camp since September hadn't he, possibly over trained.

With everything that happened with Miller plus fighting abroad for the first time & the change of opponent i think he, like many others overlooked Ruiz.

Sometimes taking a loss makes you comeback stronger & its a reality check.

Ruiz has got back tits

Who needs Steve Ponce? 😊

I reckon' I've a chance with that glass-chinned (former) pot peddler.

AJ if you're reading, which I know you do, Bommy neet on the (forner) Brooklyn carpark. Make it happen.

£4.50 admission including pie and pea supper (undercard Fury-Wilder #2, Paul Hanley vs Salford Trotter, Amir Khan v Shah Khan).

Glad AJ got beat. Even though I've warmed to Fury I hope he loses now. Dillian Whyte will be well chuffed in my opinion.

Fuck that fraud, did anyone watch the Katie Taylor fight? Wow what’s scrap. Not quite sure how she got the verdict. I thought she may have scraped a draw but it was a cracker.

Now get back in the kitchen ladies your fellas must be starving.

Classic

You're not alone. Him and his fat dad.

Close fight, terrible watch with all the holding and spoiling.

Warrington was there for the taking but Galahad couldn't step up.

Impressive from Fury, not sure he fought anyone of note there but couldn’t have done more to win over the Yanks, he’s a character alright.

His upper movement to avoid 4 big punches was impressive and then turned the table and put Schwartz down.

Did the job.

Not seen the Fury fight but that was a terrible matchup. If it had gone 4 rounds I’d have been very surprised.

I know Fury needs to build his American audience but come on, he’s served his apprenticeship against tomato cans like this

I don’t think there’s a heavyweight in Tyson’s league. Some one that big has no right being that fast and agile.

Wilder all but beat him

Id say that puts him in the same league?

Or....Fury all but beat him? Fury is all day a better boxer than wilder, anyone who says he’s not has either never seen wilder fight or just has it in for fury.

You said there's nobody in his league

Clearly, there is
