Watched it this morning. Makes you realise how good fury actually is if you Didn’t  already I would imagine

i like AJ but I’m sure if one of them catches him he’s a gonna.

Interesting that wilder was 11lbs heavier at weigh in than last fight. Would imply he is putting every single effort into power now  having been outboxed by fury and realisation that his strength is solely his power so back it up with more weight and strength.

I still think wilder beats AJ. Fury beats AJ.

Fury beats wilder in a rematch as well for me.

As an aside josh Taylor boxed supremely last night and unifies the division next fight.  Unbelievably talented.

Inoue is simply a beast. Not sure how far up the weight divisions he can go but will take something special to stop him

In fairness, middleweight has always been my favourite division to watch. Quick enough to need the skills, heavy enough to bang. Benn, Eubank sort of era really. Loved Hatton at LWW and Calzaghe at SMW. Heavys can do 1

Joshua was overhyped. Was always gonna happen sooner rather than later

Wilder was quick to make that point after the fight, which is fair enough seeing that AJ has been badmouthing him and calling him chicken for some time now. Quite liked AJ when he was respectful to other boxers, but he's been shooting his mouth of a lot recently and it was clear he showed Ruiz no respect as he seemed ill-prepared and over-confident about winning - despite Ruiz's record. These lads are heavyweights so there's absolutely no room for that kind of complacency. Maybe he learned something last night and will come back a better fighter - which he'll have to do now seeing as they'll all fancy their chances against him. Winning the rematch is a must.

Joshua had been in camp since September hadn't he, possibly over trained.

With everything that happened with Miller plus fighting abroad for the first time & the change of opponent i think he, like many others overlooked Ruiz.

Sometimes taking a loss makes you comeback stronger & its a reality check.

Who needs Steve Ponce? 😊

I reckon' I've a chance with that glass-chinned (former) pot peddler.

AJ if you're reading, which I know you do, Bommy neet on the (forner) Brooklyn carpark. Make it happen.

£4.50 admission including pie and pea supper (undercard Fury-Wilder #2, Paul Hanley vs Salford Trotter, Amir Khan v Shah Khan).

Not seen the Fury fight but that was a terrible matchup. If it had gone 4 rounds I’d have been very surprised.

I know Fury needs to build his American audience but come on, he’s served his apprenticeship against tomato cans like this

I don’t think there’s a heavyweight in Tyson’s league. Some one that big has no right being that fast and agile.

Wilder all but beat him

Id say that puts him in the same league?

Or....Fury all but beat him? Fury is all day a better boxer than wilder, anyone who says he’s not has either never seen wilder fight or just has it in for fury.
